Q: Does this granola have any cinnamon? We used to love the Bear Naked Original with Cinnamon granola. I don't think it's available anymore. Hoping this one is similar.

Guests are saying
The recent changes to the granola recipe have left many guests disappointed, as the new formula is perceived as overly sweet and lacking the wholesome ingredients that made it a favorite. Guests miss the whole almonds and the original texture, which has been replaced by clumps and a different consistency. While some appreciate the clean ingredient list, the overall sentiment leans towards a desire for the return of the original recipe, which was cherished for its natural taste and quality.

New improved taste is not good. Changing brands. Too bad Kelloggs ruined a previously great product.
New recipe is yucky!

So Disappointed! I used to love this gluten-free granola, but now when I mix it with my dairy-free yogurt, the baking soda in the granola mixes with the acid in the yogurt and creates a very unpleasant kid-science-project-type fizzing on my tongue. I tossed out two cartons of yogurt because of it, thinking the yogurt was spoiled. Nope, a chemical reaction between the yogurt and the granola. What were they thinking??? It's awful! Bring back the old nice & nutty recipe!
Please please revert to original much loved recipe

Kellogg what have you done???? I’ve eaten this religiously for 4 years. - now you’ve ruined the recipe. And the last x2 batches I purchased (from different stores in socal) I now have a tingling sensation on my tongue after eating and a severe after taste of excessive salt. I question whether most recent batch is even safe to eat. Tingling generally means acidic.

I just threw out the bag. This used to be the best granola. Now it is dry, clumpy, very few nuts (and they are coated in sugar), and it tastes stale despite the Jan. 2026 use by date. No wonder it was on sale.

too much salt

I liked the old flavors better. This "new and improved" flavor has too much salt. I love the texture of this brand and all the fruits/whole oats/nuts. But couldn't finish it due to the sea salt flavor. Salt and fruit don't mix well for me though. Granola really does not need much salt or sugar. Sorry to give poor review, but your texture is excellent!

This used to be my go to grocery store granola, but no longer. The new formulation is way too sweet and the package I just bought offers a product that tastes as though the nuts have gone bad. Yuck.

This was my go to granola for years, but lately it’s been tasting stale. The “fruit” pieces are hard and the rest of it just tastes “old”.

I have bought this many times before the “New! IMPROVED TASTE” came. I am disappointed with the amount of dried cranberries, raisins, pecans and walnuts in the mixture. There wasn’t even a whole almond or pecans, just slivers or pieces. Your taste of new and improved taste is not true! I will probably not buy unless you change back to the way you made it before.

Sorry to say i must join the ranks of former customers who thoroughly enjoyed Fruit and Nut Medley! This had been my weekday breakfast go to with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit for 8 yrs. But sadly the new recipe has few almonds which are now mere slivers and very small pieces of walnuts. I also think there are fewer cranberries and more raisin. The added sodium is unnecessary and is a issue as i have high blood pressure and must avoid salt. I am sure this was done as a cost lowering measure to increase profits but as i can see you are driving customers away!

I’ve been buying Bear naked Fruit and Medley for years the so called”new improved taste” fails the test. It was so tasty before….just the right texture and sweetness. Now way too sweet and I feel like I’m going to break a tooth.

Have enjoyed this for years. The past few purchases, barely any raisins, no cranberries. Fewer slivered almonds, no pecans. Figures, cost cutting. Also I remember when it had granola clusters which was good for snacking on. Halfway through a bag and it's all just loose oats.

I loved the old formula, the nuts were crunchy and fruit brought the sweetness, not the fake sweet taste it has now. Bring back the old formula, it was different than all other granolas which made it perfect!

I purchased two bags of this Vanilla Almond Crisp and was surprised at how "old"tasting it was, and smelled a little musty too. Very disappointed. Night another flavor too but haven't opened it and will likely toss it or try to return. Ick.

Favorite Granola brand, chewy craisins

I like the fruit included in this granola. I like to Hydrate it before start eating it with milk. However, the dry cranberries are extremely chewy and sticky that it hurts the teeth. I'm afraid I'd pull a filling out. They should take the craisins out or get them from Oceans Spray because their craisins are soft. I enjoy their products. My favorite is the Maple Pecan. I prefer this granola over any other brand because the granola is easy on the teeth (I am almost 40 FYI). The sweetness is just right and I feels so healthy to eat it.

I’ve been purchasing this granola for years and just tried my first bag labeled “New! improved taste.” It is just the opposite. The taste is much sweeter, flavor is off, seems crunchier, and almonds are smaller. I will not be buying again unless it switches back to the old formula.
