Q: Can this be used with a daybed which does not have a box spring?
A: Good morning, The Muchkin Safety Bed Rail can not be used in a daybed without a box spring. The bed rail is designed to only be used with twin, full, and queen-sized mattresses on box spring or platform bed frames.

Q: I have a light 6 inch mattress on a platform bed with no box spring. My daughter has a bunk bed with a bunk board (no box spring) that she is using as a twin ( no bed on top.) Will your bed rail work with these two configurations?
A: NEVER use on a toddler bed, bunk bed, water bed, or bed with inflatable mattress. Use ONLY on adult bed.
