This taste sensation was suggested by a college student in New Hampshire, way back in 1988. The idea seemed so perfect that we got started on it right away. Of course, we had to monkey around with bunches of test batches to get it just right, but we did, and the rest is history. Twenty-two years on we made it even sweeter with the addition of Fairtrade bananas. Today it remains one of Ben & Jerry's most iconic flavors

Favorite flavor
If you've ever been to the place that has 31 flavors, this tastes just like their banana flavor. Except it's even better because it has walnut and chocolate chunks. Chocolate chunks are thick and have a definite crunch to them.

This has always been my go to, no matter what mood I am in. Its so hard to find a good banana ice cream. Though, I'd love to try a banana flavored ice cream without nuts in it. Like a banana foster type ice cream? But regardless, this is my number one!

The chunky Monkey is my favorite Ben and Jerry’s flavor. It has a banana ice cream with chocolate chunks and nuts in it. It’s got a creamy texture and is yummy ! The only negative thing I can say is it’s expensive, I usually only buy it when there’s a sale or I have the extra money.

Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey is just epic. The banana ice cream is spot on, not too artificial, just perfectly sweet and creamy. But the real magic is in the mix-ins. Those fudge chunks are like little treasures, and the walnuts give it this awesome crunch that keeps you coming back for more. It’s like a party in your mouth with every spoonful! Seriously, if you're into banana and chocolate, you gotta try this. It’s my all-time fave for a reason!

GOAT of all ice creams
When I tell you this is the single greatest ice cream to exist, I mean it. 9/10 because the chocolate pieces are 5/10 (that's how great the rest of the ice cream is). Guys pls swap out the chocolate pieces for something better, have thought about the chocolate from bossin creampi? (I had to remove the e because your website flagged me for profanity....for naming your on own flavor (which too I love btw 8/10, because the layer of chocolate is too thick))

Chunky Monkey is like heaven in my mouth. I grab a spoon and take ownership of the container. I love the tasty ice cream. No chunky monkeys hurt but I assume if I eat too much I will become one. Creamy, crunchy, gooey, nutty, and chocolate swirls to dance in your mouth. Ingredients listed in every bite. Great dessert to serve.
