I used to love this. For the last 6 months I kept trying, but it is DISGUSTING. The cookie dough is dry chalky and down right vile. What happened. It's nasty

I don't know why this flavor has so many one-star ratings. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough was and always will be my favorite flavor and the Cookie Core just puts a different spin on it. People complain about the texture and graininess, but is poured in the center, it's supposed to have that consistency or else you'd be breaking off pieces of cookie dough instead of carving it with each spoonful like it's meant to be. Overall, I love this flavor and the fact that the Cookie Core is softer. And bring back the Peanut Butter Core!!!

Pretty good cookie dough flavor (though I prefer Oat of this Swirled), with a good distribution of cookie dough bits and chocolate. Can end up with ice crystals if you put it back in a freezer, but easy solution is to just consume the whole pint in one go…

The taste is phenomenal, one of my favourites of Ben and Jerry's! Perhaps the texture could be smoother, as it is quite firm, and the cookie dough parts are quite difficult to detach, but all and all, great ice cream. Perhaps a little pricey, but considering the full picture, still a good product, and well packed.

The Ben and Jerry's core ice cream was good but the cookie dough was coarse, chalky, and it made my stomach upset, and numbed my tongue. I will never eat Ben and Jerry's ice cream again. I ate the regular Ben and Jerry's and it was good but I think I'll stick to my Ritcheys ice cream.

I’m disappointed that I didn’t read the reviews first. I assumed it was going to be like the regular cookie dough. Like the other reviews say, the cookie dough is like a sand texture and doesn’t taste like cookie dough. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I have always loved cookie dough ice cream, but this flavour is NOT IT. The cookie core was not the cookie dough texture we know and love, it was super grainy and the taste was off as well. The ice cream itself just tasted like plain milk with some chocolate chips throughout. I found the whole thing pretty blah.
Please bring back original cookie dough recipe!!

Disappointing! I would estimate the "core" to be less than 1/12 of the total carton of ice cream. Had to eat roughly 1/4 of the carton to actually reach "the core" and was disappointed to realize that the core didn't even extend to the bottom of the container! The diameter of the core was about 1" and the length of the core less than 3". Left me wishing I had purchased the original cookie dough ice cream instead.

Don’t buy this core flavor. There was barely any cookie dough in the pint. I was extremely disappointed. Not only did the dough not go all the way through- there was a massive air pocket at the bottom.

I bought the cookie dough core by accident. I actually bought two pints thinking it was the regular cookie dough ice cream. But after a few bites I realized something was off. It was awful! The core cookie dough was hard and had a grainy texture and tasted nothing like cookie dough! I through the first pint away thinking maybe something was wrong with it. But the second container tasted just as bad. I should have returned it to the store to get my money back.
