I love the rocking chair, but the mechanics of putting it together was aweful. There were no holes drilled to screw the chair together, it did not line up, the screws were not long enough, and if the screws went in where they were supposed to they would have shown from the front of the chair. It should have been an easy item to put together, instead it was awful.

Needed a rocking chair quick for our nursery, so bought this because it was on sale. Still wasn't worth it. Directions are horrible. Quality is horrible. The pilot holes don't line up correctly so the screws split the wood when you are trying to attach pieces. The two front screws that were supposed to go into the base the chair weren't even long enough to reach to even be able to screw into the chair. And it doesn't really rock well, you have to put a lot of effort in to make it rock because the rocking base is too flat. It's not horribly uncomfortable, but I didn't feel it was remotely worth it and wish I would have bought something else.
