You may place ice packs around the Bentgo Fresh lunchbox or it can be placed in our Bentgo Insulated Lunch Bag, as the lunchbox itself does not have the space to put an ice pack inside of it.

Not durable
I bought 2 of these a few months ago before school started, and they have lasted exactly 2 weeks of school. My oldest sons broke after another kid accidentally pushed it off the desk and the second broke shortly after. I do love the size and wish they would have lasted longer.

Only solid red Bentgo I could find
Opted for the solid red Bentgo fresh because it was the only solid red I could find and my 3yo girl insisted on red. The Bentgo Kids reds only came in designs (trucks or rockets) that she quickly shot down as "boy." I love the blue (pictured) for our first daughter and my second was delighted with the red color when this arrived. Target shipping was delayed about 5 days from when this was originally supposed to arrive after purchase. The inside tray is the same material which is great, although I do miss the built-in dip container. Even for an older child, having one built in means one less thing to go missing later. Cons: -I do not like the material on the outside of this box. Like, I actively detest it. The plastic is easy to smudge with fingerprints, it looks incredibly sloppy, and the bottom slides too easily without the rubber outside. I can just image the amount of scratches this thing is going to have and with the glossy shine it'll show so easily. There are scratches and wear & tear on our 3 year old Bentgo Kids that is "hidden" so well due to the more matted option that it is made of. - This fit easily (as in, just snug without room to spare but not difficult to remove) into an older lunchbox we had from preK days which was a nice surprise. However it does not fit into the current lunch box my older daughter has with the design she loves; which means if I had upgraded her at the same time as I was considering doing then we would have needed a new lunchbox. So definitely check the size unless you are investing in a new lunchbox.

Love them! Just what I needed!
I’ve been using them for a few days and so far they are great. Enough room for a filling meal. It is spill proof, I can put it in my work bag without any concerns. The clear tops help to store the other trays with meals in the fridge until I need to put it into the bento case.

Great item, wait for a sale though
I love this container for my kids’ snacks. My kids are picky, so I’ll add four snacks to this container and they get to pick what snack they want. It holds a lot, but it’s pretty flat and doesn’t take up a ton of space. They’ve proven to be durable and easy-to-clean. I will say though, this current price is more than three times what I paid for these containers a year ago. It’s worth what I paid, but certainly not a good value at $30 each.

The size of this is great, it’s perfect for my hungry 7 year old. The insert that separates the large compartment already got lost…likely thrown in the trash so that part is kind of frustrating. Now I just use tiny containers to separate the food in the larger compartment. Overall great quality.

Great deal, beautiful colors
I was just looking for extra trays for our Bento Fresh shell, but this pack was the best deal and love the soft colors. So now we have an extra shell for the next day if our kindergartner gets this one funky one day. We used the Bento Kids for daycare for the past 2 years, but it doesn't fit while sandwich well like these do. Love the removable divider for more versatility.

Great portions, pretty durable, needs new parts!
Bought this for our son when he was starting kinder. It lasted four years before both back hinges and closure tabs broke. We would love to just buy a replacement cover and keep going, but can't find one. The portion sizes are perfect and the divider makes it easy to pack sandwiches. It leaks a tad with yogurt, but otherwise, really great!

Very difficult to close
The unit that holds doesn’t sit right/flush in the case- nearly impossible for my kiddo to close the lid to snap shut. I can close it but it is a lot of effort.

Perfect for daily use
These lunchboxes are great. They are large enough to fit anything I need for my kids as well as use them for myself. They clean very easily at the end of the day to be ready for the next with some simple handwashing, but also work well in the dishwasher. I use them every single day.

I have four of these boxes for each of my kids, and I have been packing their lunches in them every school day for the past few years! They are super durable, and really are leak free! I love that I can chose to use the divider or take it out, the flexibility to be able to pack different types of food make these boxes versatile. The colors are fun, too! They do great in the dishwasher, and the rubber seals are holding up great! I really do love these lunch boxes!

Overall great quality. I loved how the lunchbox has compartments for snacks, and a sandwich. The tray comes off for easy cleaning. I only wish that the silicone seal on the lid would be removable so I could replace it instead of having to get a new lunchbox.

We love these boxes! They lasted through several school years. They are made solid, and built to last. They hold plenty of food to fill my 10 and 8-year-old boys. The only thing I wish they had was a way to "snap" the removable divider in place. When my child dumps his left over food in the trash, the divider has fallen out in the trash with it.
