Just opened and put the mallets together- some harder than others to screw in but all look good and solid. Nice colors that match the balls. Two stakes and nine metal wickets. But I went to put it all in the handy carrying bag and the mallets don’t fit! Do they really expect you to unscrew them every time? If the bag were just slightly larger, there’d be room!

Everything came together all right, but once assembled, the mallets DON'T fit in the bag. That's when I noticed that the bag has two holes in it and the seams are already coming apart. Don't buy unless you already have a decent carrying case for it.

We bought this to replace a much older croquet set that was splintering out and the balls were breaking. On the whole this one is fine. The wickets are super flimsy and we’re using the ones from the old set instead, but the mallets and balls seem sturdy and well made. The carrying case is a total joke, though, which is disappointing because it was one of the main reasons I chose this set over others. It will not hold the mallets unless they are disassembled. We tried multiple ways and it’s just not big enough. Since we travel with this set a lot, I worry that constantly screwing and unscrewing the mallets is going to decrease their life expectancy. Something to think about…

I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised! This is a sturdy, quality wooden set. I would suggest that the storage bag be made bigger so that you don’t have to disassemble the mallets each time. Otherwise, I would recommend this set for many hours of family fun!

This is a nice set for the price point. Arrived quickly and in good order. Only drawback is that the wickets bent on the first outing. They bend back but a stronger metal is in order. I would recommend this product.

Play at home games are hard to come by during the pandemic forcing customers to pay higher prices. Mallets must be disassembled to fit in the carry case, which is a pain. The wire wickets are rather flimsy and bend easily. We have a rough yard and larger kids, so it may not last as long as an expensive top end set.
