Bestway Flow Clear 1500 GPH Above Ground Pool Filter Pump (New Without Box)

Stay away from this pump for the love of the most high !!! Got the pool a year ago & the pump was okay but almost like it wasn’t strong enough for the size pool we have even though it….came with the pool? Didn’t think much of it until it went out. It was time to shut the pool down anyways so we didn’t replace it until about 2 months ago. The new one (we got the EXACT same pool pump might I add) didn’t even make it a month and a half….it turns on when it feels like it, suctions more air than water (we’ve made sure all the fitting are right, rings aren’t damaged, and water level is where it’s supposed to be), and just doesn’t work. It’s irritating to spend so much money on something for your kids for them to not even be able to use it cause it doesn’t work the way it should.

Bought this pump last summer, the bottom cracked on the canister and of course the replacement is out of stock on the website and the part sku that says is interchangeable brings up an entire pool.

This is a great affordable product, we are on year 3 with it! Filter works awesome- man it gets disgusting!

Unfortunately, a much smaller pump was sent and won’t work for us at all.

Worked alright for about 6 days checked the filter and cleaned it out now it's not working and leaking water from around the lid

Wouldn’t even give one star on this pump… does not work out of the box.. unable to contact anyone to resolve issue and pump is now out of warranty date…

I am now going on my 4th pump within 4 years, they crack at the seam on the bottom

Came with pool from academy- been 4 yrs only problem was replacing prong on the lid and all the dang filters- glad they cheap! No trees around so lots of sun and algae.

Had this pump one summer and it broke, had to purchase a second one, let’s see if it works when I set up again.

While made for standup pools, I use it for my ten person hot tub when it needs extra cleaning as I use it as my swim pool too. This pool pump works as advertised and really cleans the water making it crystal clear. It is super easy to setup and take down. It’s all pretty basic. The electrical cord is long so I had no issues plugging it in. I really like it and am happy to recommend it because it doeas make a big difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the FlowClear 1000 gallon Filter Pump from Influenster for free, in exchange for my honest opinion. I’m greatly disappointed in this filter. Once we got it setup to the pool, it’s started having issues almost immediately. Unfortunately, we can’t use our pool as we’d like to, being that it’s currently winter season here, but was hoping we wouldn’t need to replace the filter come summer time. The filter clogs very easily, and is very cheaply made, Just in the testing out stages, we couldn’t get it to do its job correctly, no matter how much we cleaned and primed it. After messing with it for a few days, the pump just stopped working altogether. We gave up, it’s now in the recycling bin. The parts were all made of plastic, and very low quality materials. I’m not sure if we just got a faulty product, but after reading a few reviews, we’ve come to learn that others had the same experience. I would not recommend this filter to anyone. I suggest going with the higher quality ones first, and save yourself the hassle and some coin. Sorry, I can’t, in good conscience, leave much positive feedback.

It is quiet, powerful and simple to install no comment on cleanliness as our pool is surrounded by trees. Replacement filters are very cheap and the built-in energy saving timer is so convenient.
