Q: Can you roll them out and use cookie cutters?

  • A: I think with how soft the dough is, the shapes wouldn’t hold unless you over cooked them quite a bit. Even then, during the baking process the shape would change a little and look melted.

I was kind of letdown when they weren’t real cinnamony they’re not a bad flavor. They’re just not as pumpkin spicey as I would like them. As far as texture I cook some softer. I cook some with a little crispy edge. I ice some I didn’t ice some I put two different kinds of icing. Hard icing a soft icing overall they’re OK for me. I recommend making your own decision on these they’re easy to make a stick of butter in an egg and mix it and bake super easy to bake quick if you needed something for you know for a quick watch a movie kind of cookie these would work

    Soft delicious cookies

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cookies were easy to make and the directions were simple. I made them as cutout cookies and that worked well too, I recommend refrigerating the dough first if you try that. I only took off a star because being a packaged product, these are highly processed and contain palm oil and other ingredients I try to limit in my diet. But as an occasional treat, they are delicious and this flavor is perfect for the fall season.

They came out soft on top with crisp on the bottom. I portioned mine a little bigger than suggested in the baking process and I’m glad I did. I also had a couple hiccups when it came to getting the dough right, but it worked out. The cookies were really delicious.

I am not a fan of pumpkin spice but I wanted to give this new cookie mix a try. The cookies themselves were fluffy but I didn't like the flavor. I love the packaging design. Prolly would love a different flavor!!!

    Yummy Pumpkin cookies 🍪

    Now THIS is a good Red Velvet!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good cookies! I was surprised at how they actually were CHOCOLATE and not just a red dye! I’ve turned away a lot of red velvet because it lacked flavor. This doesn’t lack a thing! The instructions were SUPER easy to follow: two eggs, a stick of warm butter and mix! I did a tiny bit over a table spoon for 13 minutes on 350 and ended up with about 18 perfectly baked and sized cookies! This was super easy and delicious!

    Taste so off!!

    Tastes like poison

    Just made these (chocolate caramel soft bake) and it had such a bad bitter and chemical taste that I had to spit it out. Everyone in the house agreed. They were inedible. Had to throw the whole batch out. Honestly not sure it it was even safe to eat with how bad it tasted. Not sure why this hasn't been pulled from the shelf.

    Metallic Aftertaste

    I thought it was something I did wrong in my baking, but I had just made two other Betty crocker pre packaged cookie mixes (Caramel apple, amazing !) and those came out as perfect as always. However, these Chocolate Caramel soft baked have an extreme metallic taste. I'm going to toss them unfortunately. I tried even adding powdered sugar to the top, after baking, and they still have a weird after taste. I've had a few people try them and they all agree.

    Chemical taste

    I made the Chocolate Caramel soft baked I made tonight and they seriously were not edible. They had a very chemically flavor and almost burning. Like you accidentally put chemical or poison in your mouth. Even my kid couldn’t eat them. I thought I was tripping. I checked the date and every thing lol. Maybe I got a bad batch
