Fun in theory, but lacking
These should have been more fun than they actually were, unfortunately. They arrive with the winning scratchers packaged separately and clearly marked. I understand the reasoning here, if you wanted to control "winner" so it wasn't actually a fun game of chance (boring, but whatever) ... but we wanted to actually play the game. Despite shuffling them before putting them out for guests, the first two people to play scratched the only winners and nullified the game for everyone else. I don't know if the winning ones stood out because they'd been packaged separately (perhaps the others stuck together more and made it more likely the winners would be selected from the pile?) or if it was just an incredible coincidence, but it was pretty anticlimactic and not worth the money for the two packs I'd purchased. For anyone considering, I'd suggest opening and shuffling them all together ahead of time to give them a few days to settle, so to speak. Then I'd either have them at each guest's place (if seated) or pass them all out at the same time with instructions not to scratch until everyone had received theirs. That would have solved the problem. I just didn't realize there WAS a problem until opening them and having it work out the way it did (which was pretty disappointing)
