Nice Flavor, a break from the usual herbal teas

The ingredients combine to make a lovely tasting herbal tea. I'd never tried chicory before this tea and have found I'm a fan. Since it's caffeine free, it's a good afternoon or evening treat. I prefer to drink it with a teaspoon of sugar instead of honey as honey lessens the mint flavor imo, but honey is still ok with it. I don't usually add milk either, although they go well together. For those of us who don't want to use teabags that contain plastic, no Bigelow teas use any plastic (except boxes of 40 quantity, according to their website as of January 2026, which they are also in the process of switching away from plastic). Bigelow is also a certified B corporation. Bigelow Peppermint Bark is a seasonal offering, so i bought a case of six boxes to savor over the spring/summer.

Peppermint goodness

Poor Packaging = Damaged Items

Items arrived in a back which did not protect the boxes. Boxes arrived crushed and opened and cannot be used in gift baskets. It’s unfortunate that the person who packaged the items didn’t consider the potential damage. Will seek a replacement.
