Recipe Change a disaster
Driving down to the beach in rural Alabama, we stopped at one of those run down gas stations for gas and a bathroom break, and lo and behold, what did I see on the shelf, the original 170 calorie receipe Mocha blend, NOT the current under 100 calorie disaster. Still on the shelf, from October 2024, about when they made the change, I was elated and bought several. WHY CAN’T THEY GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE, OR HOW ABOUT KEEP BOTH? Coke and Diet Coke versions. And they still have the 170 calorie picture on the website, misleading customers who want to buy or subscribe online.

Tasty, but not my favorite.
I like getting coffee fresh from there stores or making it myself better. I'd recommend any of their whole bean coffees any day! I even like their decaf!

Avoid now - use to be good
Was amazing for years, now it's a 90 calories (instead of 170) with weak weak flavor. Not sure who thought this was a good idea, but I certainly won't buy it again.

Remove the Sucralose!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I 100% agree with Brittani C. (Nov. 2024 comment)! Please remove the sucralose! Not only is do some people react badly to it, it is not good to consume. A bunch of research has shown that sucralose negatively affects gut health, obesity, immune function, and a list of other issue it causes. Please remove it from your drinks!! I love these drinks and want to drink them again!

Terrible now with Sucralose added
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this drink for years. Last shipment came in with sucralose added and it is not the same. If you like sucralose sweetened drinks you may like this still. Not for me though.

Take out the sucralose
The coffee was my go to because it was one of the only ones without artificial sweeteners and had a lower sugar content than other drinks. Now it tastes gross. Bring back cane sugar but keep it below 15g and take out all of the fake crap. Colombe coffee does this and it tastes amazing. I also don’t want natural or artificial flavoring.

The new recipe isn’t good
They recently changed the recipe and it’s horrible. I call most cold brew canned coffee dirt water, this is the new dirt water. This new change makes it taste so bitter and bad. It’s super watered down. Find something else to drink. This isn’t good.

Was excellent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Change in formulation us a step backwards. I am known to drink this a lot. My team members have gotten me this on bosses day etc. It is difficult to recommend now.

Why Did They Change the Recipe?!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used to love these and was a subscriber of the monthly shipments of the Mocha. Great taste and everything. When I received my last shipment from this past December, it was clear something was off. Tasted terrible, color no longer had that creamy look to it. Dug into it, and it appears the recipe/formula has indeed changed, which they have neglected to update on the website by the way nor did they inform customers. Delicious 170 calorie beverage when to 90 calories with artificial God knows what. Very disappointing, and I will not be buying more. Why do companies when they get big ruin good things?

Ditch the sucralose!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My one daily coffee drink for a couple of years but no longer. I kept hoping it was a quality issue. Finally looked it up. You know it’s bad if that’s what you hope for. You messed up a very good thing.

Used to be good
I used to drink this everyday, but in a recent purchase the can I opened had a weird taste so I compared cans and found that they've switched to sucralose. It's HORRIBLE. I can't stomach the weird aftertaste it leaves. This is such a disappointment. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

A tale of two recipes?
We really like this stuff, but we are curious why there seems to be two versions? the one with 170 cal and a bunch of sugar isn't near as good as the one with 80 cal. If you're looking for input, really like the 80 cal on a lot more than the 170 cal.

New Recipe 👎🏼
My husband has been drinking these for years as a LEO they were perfect for grabbing to take to work. The new recipe is not good at all and he can no longer drink them. I just had to return two cases I bought for him.

Ruined by sucralose
Adding sucralose to this drink, and altering the previous recipe has completely ruined it. I didn’t realize this, and bought two cases that I couldn’t return. No mention of “new recipe” on the packaging at all. Way to pull a fast one on your faithful customers, BRC. I was going through a case per week, now I will not be buying it. You lost me as a customer with this move.

The new formula sucks
Stay away from the 90/ 110 calorie cans. They taste like watered down sh#t. I loved the OG 170 calorie Espresso Mocha- Won't be buying this or the Espresso and Cream anymore unless I find some of the originals on the shelf or they just go back to the original all together for both.

Change it back!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to drink a can of this and think, “ Man, I could drink a gallon of this stuff!” Not so with the new recipe. I noticed on the label it has about 1/2 calories now than what’s posted on this page. I don’t know what chicory is, but it must’ve been important to the flavor because that’s missing too from new label. It now has the consistency of a can of Yoo-Hoo with some coffee mixed in. I never cared about the calories. I liked the flavor and the caffeine. PLEASE bring back the old recipe. When I finish the cases I have left, I will probably look for a different product. Flavor is King!
