Q: I am looking for a sunblock. Will I tan using this product?

submitted by FLsu - 4 months ago
  • A: Hello! Thanks for reaching out. There are not any sunscreens that provide 100% coverage from the sun, so there’s a chance that you will still see the effects of sun exposure on your skin after being outside. And given that any tan indicates the body's response to damaging UV light, this isn't necessarily a good thing. However, our SPF 50 mineral sunscreens provide broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection to help protect you from the sun’s harmful rays and are formulated to protect you from 98% of UVB rays. We recommend that you apply your SPF fifteen minutes before going outside and to reapply at least every two hours (or more often if swimming or sweating). Thanks! -Blue Lizard Team

Q: There's need for sunscreen under eyes and on eye lids because need protection. But then read where the sunscreen would sting eyes. Which of your sunscreens would you recommend for for eye areas?

submitted by Pinchbuggies - 11 months ago
  • A: Hello! Thank you for your question. The skin around your eyes is very thin and prone to UV damage, so it’s important to keep it protected with daily SPF. We recommend our Sensitive Face SPF30 Lotion, Sheer Face SPF50 Lotion, and/or our Sensitive Mineral SPF50 Stick for easy face application. When using these products, keep out of the eyes. Rinse with water to remove. -Blue Lizard Team
