[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves trains and requested a train-themed birthday party. He is a bit too old for Thomas, so I had a difficult time finding party supplies that had a more mature train look to them. When I came across this pinata, I was very excited. The pinata is well made. It has a plastic loop on top and was easy to hang from our tree outside. The colors are vibrant and appealing. In addition to a pinata, this could be used as a decoration and would look great on a wall or as a table centerpiece. I thought the size of it was good and we were able to fill it up with candy and surprises. The instructions for filling the pinata were included and quite simple. This was our first time using a “pull string” pinata. It was exciting to watch as each child waited in anticipation when it was their turn to pull a string to see if they were the one to “open the trap door” and release the candy. I like this alternative to the blindfold/hit with a stick pinata for safety reasons, but this is still made like a traditional pinata, so can be hit with a stick as well. We loved having the railroad pinata at my son’s birthday and we are looking forward to another pinata for next year!
