The age of misinformation
Great product as always from Bob's but, unfortunately (and predictably,) there are lots of reviewers here spreading misinformation. First off, this is baking powder, not baking soda, so I don't know why you're comparing the two. That alone tells me some of these reviews are fake since every baker knows the difference between the two. Then there's the reason for the fake reviews, which is aluminum. There's ZERO evidence that aluminum causes neurodegenerative disease or cancer or whatever you're claiming here. I need to specifically address the review made by someone claiming that aluminum is "a man-made alloy which doesn't occur in nature." Aluminum is a naturally-occuring ELEMENT. Its atomic number is 13.

Will be returning.
Price is marked up 2-3x what it costs at other retailers. How can Target allow this?

Excellent rise. Compensation needed.
Rises extremely well, but compensate if you're used to regular baking powder. I've been making corn bread with Bob's Red Mill medium grind organic cornmeal and it turns out perfect every time. Today I used Bob's Red Mill aluminum free baking powder and made the recipe as usual. It overflowed in my oven! I'll have to search around to see what people suggest for cutting back...half the amount? I wish there had been a note on the package especially considering this is a Bob's Red Mill ingredient.

Only BP to trust!
Only baking powder I use anymore! I bake daily and this is a staple at home. It never goes bad for me.

OK, don't like the packaging
OK baking powder but the packaging isn't good. the bag is awkward to get the powder out of, and it doesn't seal well so I get clouds of powder when I put the bag back in my baking box.

Love the Closure
The Baking Powder itself is fine. I’m not really qualified to tell the difference between BP’s. I do trust Bob’s to make high quality ingredients and it shows in the final product! I Love the closure on the bag, It keeps it fresh and doesn’t spill out, you know when you’ve got it closed. Thanks Bob’s!

I really like it better than the baking soda you buy in the stores in a card board box!

Gets the job done
It has a lot of sodium for baking powder and is not as strong as others I have used (so I have to use more which means more sodium). Still, it gets the job done.

I use it in baking. One of those hidden ingredients, but it's nice to feel safe knowing the product is GF and aluminum free.

Always Fresh
Bob's Red Mill Baking Powder is always fresh and powdery. And I love the velcro-like bag closure! It's so handy and fool-proof (unlike so many "zip closures" that never seem to zip closed). Bravo, Bob!

Makes a difference
I do a lot of baking, especially gluten free, and this baking powder does the best. Not sure why but everything turns out just slightly fluffier.

ALUMINUM-FREE IS KEY
Right after COVID started, suddenly it became almost impossible to find baking powder WITHOUT ALUMINUM in it. For cryin' out loud, why are they putting aluminum in our FOOD??? (I believe it has to do with shelf life, but that is a pretty sad excuse, imo!) I knew BRM had this product, but I can no longer find it in any grocery stores I've been in... So, I resorted to getting it online. This is critical, to me, as a baker, to have HEALTHY products. There is nothing, I repeat, NOTHING healthy about eating aluminum. Aluminum is an alloy (man-made), not a naturally occurring metal like iron, and it is a definite TOXIN to the human body. Be wise and don't buy anything with aluminum in it! Aluminum in the body is widely believed to contribute to dementia, namely Alzheimer's Disease.
