Do not follow the new recipe on the back
Word of warning. This product is fabulous but it changed the recipe on the back of the bag. The recipe you’re looking for is still on the website as “old-fashioned tapioca pudding”. The recipe on this new bag is “easy tapioca pudding” and, I believe it is awful. I made it twice turned out horrible. I was looking for the old fashion tapioca pudding ! That is what you should quickly search and make. !! The product is the same I just changed the recipe on the back. Bob mills you have to change it back. If your customers can’t separate eggs and then they should get out of the kitchen.

Do not use multi cooker directions on package
This small tapioca is terrible. I followed the directions for multi cooker & the pearls dissolved. What the heck? I’m going back to Reese’s brand, large pearls…gheez

Tapioca Pearls--Who Knew?
These weren't available at any market in my neighborhood so a big thanks to Bob's Red Mill for having them available at their online store. This was my first time using tapioca pearls and making tapioca pudding. (I grew up thinking tapioca pudding was made with rice. Go figure.) This was a fascinating learning experience and a successful first try. These little gems are a great product--and so easy to use! I'm now a happy convert who will be making pudding for my husband on a regular basis. Some childhood food memories need a visit now and then and my husband has nodded and smiled in approval. The recipe on the package looks great but this first round I opted for one that blooms the pearls in one cup of water until absorbed before adding the milk to begin the cooking process.

Great Gluten Free Dessert
I recently moved to Florida and cannot find Small Pearl Tapioca in any of the stores where I live. I love Tapioca pudding -- it's a quick and easy dessert and gluten free. It's one of those "comfort foods" and brings back memories of my mother and grandmother making it. Bob's Red Mill is the best tapioca that I have found.

I made Tapioca first day I received the small pearl tapioca. It brought back many memories of my childhood. We had milk cows that gave an abundance of milk and Mother needed to use it. When she made tapioca, there was never a drop left....so very good.
