A: The tattoos should last around 2 days. It could vary depending on skin type, area of the body and number of washes. You can preserve it for a longer period of time by avoiding excessive scrubbing over the tattoo area.
submitted byBIC Consumer Products - 2 years agoBrand expertA: The package says to “remove with soap and water.” This is a lie! THESE MARKERS WILL NOT WASH OFF WITH SOAP AND WATER. It says it may take several washes, but even scrubbing did very little. Soap and water did absolutely nothing. You are basically writing in yourself with permanent marker. But even permanent marker seems to wipe off with hand sanitizer. Some of the colors of these tattoo markers did come off with hand sanitizer and scrubbing, but the black didn’t budge. So now we have to just wait for it to fade, I guess.i really feel they should have explained this on the package. I would definitely not buy these again.

Q: I'm concerned about them getting on sheets, clothes or walks. Does the ink transfer onto sheets or clothes? If so, do they wash out of fabrics in the wash machines? And do they wash off walls?

A: We recommend that you use the markers on clean, dry skin … don’t use any lotions or moisturizers prior to applying your tattoo, as this could impact the durability of the tattoo. A transfer from dry ink can typically be removed from fabrics using normal stain pre-treatments and washings.

Good markers
These markers work well. Tje colors are vibrant and last through a few washingd. I just wish they would have included a yellow instead of 2 shades of blue. I have to buy a different set just to get a yellow marker. A basic set should include all primary colors.

I cannot believe the amout of reviews complaining that this doesn't wash off. I've only used black so far & with 3 washes it already started to fade. This is a harmless product that is a lot of fun to use. I highly recommend it & I believe it's worth the price.

These markers ARE NOT washable. They are fade-able. I made the mistake is putting tattoos on my grandson and went I to panic mode when they didn’t wash off in his bath. It took roughly 4 days for the tats to wear off.

I purchased these for my daughter as a christmas present. She is always drawing all over her arms with pen. I thought this seemed like a safer option. She loved them and uses them quite often. Her artwork is not instantly removed with water but it comes off faster than ink.

Idk why these are so highly reviewed. They’re awful. They bleed. They’re dull colors. Washed off an hour later. Tip moves a lot when drawing so it’s hard to get anything good looking. Better off getting fine tip permanent markers.

Disappointed
This was definitely not worth the price. The markers are not metallic. There is no shine. They bleed. The red one came completely dried out and was useless. I didn't realize the stencils wouldn't be reusable. I wish I hadn't saved this to give as a gift because now it is past the return window. I'm very disappointed that I wasted money on this. I feel like I could have just used regular markers and basically had the same effect.

Marker or pen would stay on skin longer
Disappointed in these overall. They draw nicely but they don’t stay long on skin. A regular pen or marker would stay longer than these do unfortunately. However if you need to remove the ink from your skin, it just takes a little soap and water.

These pens are expensive and not any better than plain markers. My daughter drew a picture on the inside of my arm and the color was fading an hour later. My skin was clean and I wasn't sweating. Just didn't work for me. Disappointing.

Fun with the kids

Does NOT come off easily
we got these for our kids thinking it would be fun to have temporary tattoos, but they take over a week and a half to come off despite regular scrubbing. ugh. very annoyed

As the marker is designed to last for an extended time it will require some additional washing with warm water and soap for removal.
