We buy Bones coffee occasionally and were excited to see the hot chocolate. However, it was surprisingly bitter. A good amount of sugar was listed on the label, but it tasted as if there was none to very little.

It is usually hard to impress me with powdered hot chocolate but this hot chocolate was delicious. Thick and creamy chocolate with an intense flavor that must have been hidden in each grain of the mix. The little marshmallows are an added treat.

I quit drinking coffee almost 5 years ago until I came across bones coffee. The maple bacon is a must, as is the strawberry cheesecake, but the oh fudge is to die for. Got some new ones coming in my subscription this time , I'll let yall know the outcome, but I have not found one I dislike.

Seriously though, this is dangerous. I'm not a huge hot cocoa fan, but a long-time Bones Coffee drinker. I actually bought this for my husband but decided to try a cup myself. WOW! If you're on the fence about this, just go for it.

If you like darker bitter tasting chocolate this is for you. If you like sweeter drinking chocolate, have a pass on this one.My wife doesnt drink coffee but loves hot chocolate so we bought m this to see if she liked it. I did, but she was majorly disappointed. She likes more sweeter chocolate and this is made with the darker chocolate which makes it not sweet but a tad bitter. Ill get the peppermint one come december and see if having a 'flavor' helps 'hide' the darker chocolate taste. But we will not get the drinking chocolate again.

This is so much better than any of the other hot chocolate mixes that I have tried. I almost always mix my hot chocolate mix with milk instead of water so this was no different for me. It was so much richer than the others that I have tried. I will be getting more of this in the future.

Tried the drinking chocolate prepared as directed, it met all expectations, very good. Then a lightbulb came on. I poured a cup of hot prepared coffee over three tablespoons of the powdered chocolate drink, and since I only drink my coffee cold I added ice. Wow! So whether you like hot chocolate drink or iced coffee with a twist, this gets 5 stars from me...
