Fango, Italian for "mud." Advanced Fango Active Mud is the original Italian mud mask, crafted by Borghese since 1985. This five-minute mask for face and body detoxifies congested pores, deeply nourishes, and restores smoothness to dull, uneven skin. Mineral-rich bentonite clay draws out excess oil and impurities while avocado oil, adaptogenic botanicals, and ATP (adenosine triphosphate) replenish, so skin stays supple and glowing through detoxification.

After a single five-minute application, pores look smaller and cleaner, tone is more even, and skin feels soothed. With twice-weekly use over four weeks, skin is more hydrated and better balanced, with improved resilience due to microbiome support.

Why It Works: The five-minute Fango experience begins with a refreshing cooling sensation and a light tingle as the active ingredients get to work. The formula does not dry, allowing mineral-rich clay to help draw out impurities, excess oil, and debris before barrier stripping can occur. How To Use:
1. Apply a thick even layer to clean skin.
2. Leave it on for only 5 minutes. Do not allow the mud to dry.
3. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
4. Follow with serum and moisturizer.

For a precise, hands-free application, use our Deluxe Mask Applicator:
1. Using the spatula side, apply a ¼” thick layer to clean, dry skin.
2. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
3. Remove mud using the spatula side or a warm washcloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
