Bothy Threads Posy XSK18 Counted Cross Stitch Kit

Stitch Posy, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — a green shoe is gathered from lavender, pink roses and wildflowers, tied at the heel with a pink ribbon bow. A little stitcher's folklore: in the Victorian language of flowers, lavender stood for devotion. Why this kit: part of Sally King's Shoe Art Collection, it turns a fantasy shoe into a whole scene, stitched on fine 16-count Aida for delicate floral detail. Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch, back stitch and French knots. A frame is not included. Stitch the flowers in cross stitch from the centre, then add the stems in back stitch and the French knots. Finished size: 22×26 cm (8.7×10.2 in). A pretty gift for a gardener or flower lover.
