Shrinks
I purchased this blanket a year ago. At first I loved it. It draped beautifully, was soft to the touch, and for a Queen it was massive. It was so big that it draped onto the floor. I’ve washed it once a month on delicate in cold water, and dried it on low. A year later this blanket has shrunken so badly it doesn’t even cover the top of my mattress. As another reviewer stated, it’s now the size of a throw blanket. The material has become matted and it’s rough to the touch. Save your money and don’t buy this.

Shrinks after a couple washes and I don't mean a little bit. I had the Kibg size, followed care instructions and it shrunk basically to the size of a throw. I'm so disappointed, this isn't a cheap blanket for it to be doing this.

Beautiful blanket however straight out of the package it was 20-30 inches less than it should be for a king and it looks like I have a shedding lab on my bed from loose hair sheds. Returning . FedEx-as always delivered the package torn open and in shambles. Not sure why Target continues to use them for a delivery service. Always late and destroyed packages.

Washed it twice and it smells like absolute dog poopie with a mix of bile. I tried to stomach and I can’t. So I’m returning it tomorrow. I truly was hoping after a second wash, it would have saved me the trouble of lugging it back to the store but it didn’t work out. I researched it and the wool in the blanket is releasing lanolin oils when washed and it’s unbearable!

Smells!!!
Did one wash and it smelled so bad. How can something smell AFTER you wash it? Makes no sense but listen to the reviews. Yuck. It didn’t shrink for me after that one wash so I’ll give it that. I love the colors otherwise just wish it didn’t smell like poop

Great blanket! Its large and covers 2-3 people comfortably. Great for Fall because its slightly breathable but yet cozy. I wash this in gentle cycle and dry on low-med (to not shrink or have it have a weird smell) with wool balls and a few dryer sheets in linen scent to add a light scent.

No regrets! But know what you're getting.
I love this blanket and mine doesn’t stink after washing it. The blanket did shrink significantly, but I’m ok with that, I’m using it as an accent color blanket on my bed, more of a throw. My question is after you wash it, does anyone know how to soften wool up again? I don’t regret the purchase (at full price), and absolutely love this brand of bedding!!! It’s my absolute favorite, from the sheets to the pillows.

I LOVED this blanket, it was oversized (hit the ground on both sides of my king bed) and so soft and comfy. The first time I washed it, it shrunk a little but was still fine. After the second wash… it barely fits my bed, is itchy, and sheds like crazy. Followed instructions and washed on delicate/tumble dry low/ remove promptly. Very upsetting considering the price point.

Dont buy this!!
Like the other reviews, this is a terrible blanket once washed. It’s stiff and not soft anymore and smells terrible. The more I wash it, the worse it gets. And it’s shrunk at least 1/4 of its original size despite following the care instructions.
