Not a huge fan. Works in a pinch
I know this tends to be a crowd favorite. I love cookie dough ice cream. But for some reason I just don’t like the way it taste. Something seems off to my taste buds. I personally prefer other brands of cookie dough. Our family is split on ice creams. And this is a favorite for other family members

oh, that's not good!
I am a big fan of fryers ice cream.I have many in all my life.I don't think or at least I didn't think there was a flavor I didn't like. But whatever the heck , this gross concoction is actually finally did it. Yikes.

I wish I had looked at these reviews before wasting money on this product. Almost no cookie dough to speak of. Just a tub of bland vanilla-adjacent ice cream. I'd have returned it to the store if the kids hadn't crushed half of it before I got the chance to tell them not to.

Horrible product
Absolutely terrible! I have been looking for a good chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and came across Breyers version of it. Me and my wife have gone through about 1/2 of tbe 1.5 L container and have not found one single piece of chocolate yet. It is mostly just mediocre vanilla ice cream. And also very few pieces of cookie dough. It should just be re-named to ‘Cookie dough’ cause there is zero chocolate in it. Very disappointed I had to spent $$ on this. Either would like my money back or I just will never buy another Breyers ice cream product ever again. I also bought a container of Caramel Fudge, so hopefully that one is better. But I guess it can’t get worse than this 1 star piece of crap

WORST TASTING COOKIE DOUGH ICE CREAM
This is the second and last time I will ever buy this ice cream. The cookie dough pieces are gross and some kind of imitation mushy nastiness let one get to room temperature and try to eat it. Funny I used to think Breyers was good.

Meh...cookie dough tastes weird
I've bought the Cookie Dough flavour twice, most recently (in the last few days) by accident. I did not remember unfortunately that Breyers cookie dough is kind of gross, and I never thought I'd say that about cookie dough. The only reason it gets a 2 is because the vanilla ice cream is nice, but there are no chocolate chips at all, the cookie dough bits are pretty scarce, and the dough itself tastes weird. I've had much better versions, like Ben & Jerry's and DQ. The picture on the tub doesn't show chocolate chips in the ice cream, but past reviews with pictures DO show it used to have chocolate chips in it....you guys need to get your cr@p together with this flavour

Awful!
Breyer's used to be one of my favorite brands.Not anymore. Hardly any cookie dough and it has a odd aftertaste, almost like fake coconut which just lingers. There are much better brands to chose from that are real ice cream. Complete waste of money, IMO.

This use to be one of my favorite ice creams. No longer is… the amount of cookie dough pieces that used to be present in the ice cream has decreased dramatically…

No cookie dough
I was craving cookie dough ice cream so bad and my brother picked this up from me. The first night I went to get a bowl of ice cream it was all vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips. Next bowl same thing and so on. There are no cookie dough chunks in this at all. Completely false advertising I’m disappointed.
