Q: Does it come with a filter replacement sensor?

I bought this item last Feb 16 and just today Oct 21/2019 (just 8 months later), the electronic filter change indicator stopped from working. I'd like to known what should I do? Are maybe the batteries replaceble?

Q: Just wanted to confirm, you fill the reservoir 3 times and dump before consuming the water?

With our UltraMax Dispenser, we recommend discarding the first dispenser of filtered water after installing a new filter, or using it to water plants (The 3 discards are for our pitchers). Q: Does the Brita Large 27 cup UltraMax filter come with a Brita Elite filter or can I replace the filter with the Brita Elite filter?

Q: Does this filter out fluoride?
A: Jacob, we'd be happy to answer this for you. Or Brita Filters aren't designed to remove fluoride. Our blue Elite Filters don't remove fluoride from tap water, and our white Brita Standard Filters remove less than 5% of fluoride from tap water. We hope this helps. Monique from THe Brita Team

Q: What is the difference between the "Elite replacement filter" and the "Longlast filter?" The Longlast filter does not show up on the Brita Compare Water Replacement Filters page as of 4/9/2022.
