Brother PrintModa Studio Quilting Fabric Printer HLJF1

This took some doing to hook this up to my computer and art Spira but finally is working It would not attach to my 4G network, Beautiful color though

For vivid printing of photos, you HAVE TO turn off the quality Eco-Mode in the "General Settings" for the printer (not to be confused with Quiet Mode or Economy Mode). Shutting off the Eco-Mode within the printer settings allows you to enhance the color of the photos. My first attempt at printing on the fabric roll, the photos came out yellow and faint-looking. Needless to say, I was mad. After reading more about the printer and doing a search about the settings, to have vibrant and enhanced-looking photos, you must shut off the Eco-Mode for color quality. Someone left a review with two photos, and you can tell the difference in the quality of the photos. I am sure that they left the quality Eco-Mode on and printed the photos. I tried two different photos on the fabric roll, one in Eco-Mode and one in Enhanced Mode. You can definitely tell a difference between the two. The Enhanced Mode vs printing on my HP printer looked the same. I am definitely happy about finding out about the print quality mode and how to shut off Eco-Mode.

I create quilts and other quilted items, and this printer is a game-changer for me! I'm now creating my own panels to make the quilts, etc. I love how sharp the pictures print on the fabric and on paper!

The printer is more than what I was expecting. You have to use your imagination and let it do the rest.

So much fun to be able to print on Fabric, great for so many crafts. Prints so fast and the colors are perfect!

This PrintModa Printer is a valuable tool in my craft room. The fabric printer is beautiful and the colors are vibrant. The regular printing feature is also handy to have for printing patterns.

The moda printer does a great job printing on fabric as well as working with my scan and cut and stellere. Love thst I can customize what I can print, cut it as an applique and embroider!

I am still trying to figure out how to use the printer. I printed on fabric and it came out great. I just cannot figure out what is the best program to use for printing the pictures. The picture came out small sometimes and then better. I can't figure out exactly how to print with the 2nd drawer. There were no directions and I went online to try to find out how to use. The fabric paper is too expensive to learn with. I've used paper for practice but my primary reason for this printer is fabric printing. So where can I find easy to follow directions? and what software should I use to design what I want printed?

I wish it had a scanner, this was to replace my 8 year old printer., scanner and fax machine. The printer is to large. I will just another printer and just print on 8 by 11 sheets of treated fabric.

Love that it's a fabric printer, but there are No new tutorials for it. I really thought that spending so much money they would have more information tutorials on it.
