Great idea but it lacks concept. There is a beading activity but not board to correspond to the playing cards. For $30 I expected more in this huge box! I wish I could have returned it!

I LOVE the idea of integrating diversity and STEM learning for young kids. The execution on this particular product is atrocious. The box is huge but mostly empty; I'm glad I purchased this on clearance because retail is about 3x too high for what you get. As others have said, the card game is unplayable due to a missing card category. (Oddly, there isn't even room in the card box for an additional 10 cards so did anyone get the necessary cards??) The bracelet project is alright but if your child's name is not extremely short, it's going to be a necklace or belt length in binary, not a bracelet. This product was a really cool idea but it shouldn't have been sent to market like this. It's a prototype that needs work, not a finished product.

I grabbed this for my 7 year old grandson and I am so glad I did! This is AWESOME! All my kids played even my 16 year old! He was very helpful because he took coding in 5th grade! There was a time when learning coding was not accessible to everyone. This toy intoduces coding at an early age and it show inclusivity! WIN! WIN!!

Missing items making game unplayable

Beware! Missing so many key pieces of the game! My 6 year old was so excited for this. We opened the box to begin playing the game and so many pieces were missing, making it impossible to play. According to the contents list there there should be 10 assignment cards, 10 if/then cards, 10 parking lot cards, and 10 loop cards. There are no loop cards at all and only 9 if/then cards. The colors of the cards are supposed to match the category on the spinner, however what I believe are the parking lot cards are green- not the purple on the spinner (there is no green category on the spinner). I have contacted the company and hope they are able to send the missing pieces. I would not buy this product unless you can confirm all necessary pieces are included and/or be prepared to return. We are not able to return as much daughter already made the coding bracket/necklace.

It is missing the whole LOOP category cards. I like the concept, but it was expensive for what it is and on top of that incomplete? We’re returning it tomorrow

Great Concept, Disappointing Implementation
2 out of 5 stars
MiningLady - 1 year ago
My daughter received this as a gift for her 5th birthday and we are both really excited about both the learning aspect and the cultural representation. However, when we opened the box, we found that the game part had several cards - including an entire category - missing (according to the list of contents included on one of the cards). I have reached out to the company directly 3 times now through their website and received no response. We love the concept of this company, but it is beginning to seem like they are providing a sub-standard product while touting the cultural diversity and STEAM focus.

Non-Screen Activities

Having been a computer science major and a coder, I found this an interesting angle of introducing coding concepts to kindergarten/1st grade without having another screen only angle. Seems best for kids older than toddlers and early elementary
