Brushed Cotton Blanket - Threshold™

We first got this blanket as a gift, and now somehow we’re up to five, because literally everyone in the family wanted their own.

Usually whenever I get a new blanket or anything that might shed I wash and dry it separately the first few times. But when this one arrived I was out of town and my sister just tossed it in with all the other clothes like normal and well let's just say I'll let my ratings do the talking. Because honestly this product made me so happy and gave me such a relief from that extra work, they're the only ones I’ve been sticking with for the past few months, and I haven’t gotten a single bad experience, not yet. Hope this awesome streak continues. Thanks!

Nice cotton blanket. I would call it a medium weight. Washed prior to using and it washed (and dried) perfectly. No wrinkles. Would definitely recommend. Goes well with the Threshold sheets. Only thing I would add is more colors. Don’t like the houndstooth or plaids. Need more solid colors.

This product is listed as 100% cotton, and having worked in the fabric business for a while, I know that’s rarely true, but honestly, this one really feels like pure cotton. Hats off to the makers for that!

This would be a great blanket if the stitching wasn't defective. This is my second one. I returned the first one. That one was even worse. It looks like the stitching was cut. This blanket is way too expensive to have these ridiculous defects.

This cotton blanket is insanely soft and breathable. Perfect for cuddling on the couch or taking a nap. I love how light it feels but still keeps me warm.

Loving the weight of this blanket, the gray color is super soothing and easy on the eyes, and that houndstooth pattern is honestly therapeutic.

SHRINKS!!! This blanket was awesome to start, but unfortunately, upon washing and drying on a regular bedding cycle (which is to be expected since this is… well… bedding) this blanket shrank approximately 4 inches in width and another 4 inches in length.

Nice, soft blanket but the stitching on the ends started to unravel after 3 weeks. Bummed we had to return!

Soft fabric & held up after washing. Perfect weight for summer.

This blanket is INCREDIBLY soft. It is not as fuzzy as a fleece fabric (which the pictures may mislead you to think) and light enough for warmer weather. I will be using this a summer-time throw on my couch :)

The blanket was washed in the washing machine before being used. About 2 cups of fluff came off the blanket in the washing machine and the dryer when tumble dried. The dryer had to be stopped several times to clean out the lint filter. The blanket afterwards looked ok to use. Hopefully, not much fluff with come off the blanket on the next washing.

This would be a 5 star but the initial amount of shedding is crazy! I highly recommend to wash and dry separate from other linens before use. My washer had a ton of wet lint balls stuck to other linens and I had to empty my dryer bin in the middle of drying because of the massive amount of lint but now it's good as gold. Dog approved. Worth the initial care but wish I had known before I made my laundry room look like a snow globe. For reference I bought the twin/tan blanket to use as a throw.

This blanket is great for relaxing on the couch, on the go with the kids or picnic blanket. Lightweight and cool to the touch. The material is soft and doesn’t create extra body heat. Pattern is subtle and light tone color.

I have been using this for a month straight and it has been in the wash and drier each week and it still looks brand new. I love the houndstooth design and most especially, the fact that it is 100% cotton. It has been hot here and we have no problem using it. It keeps me warm but not toasty during spring-summer nights.
