Dryer Destroyer

This blanket may destroy your dryer. These should have been prewashed, which is standard manufacturing practice for most textiles. Because they aren’t, they shed an unsafe amount of lint in both the washer and dryer, and they WILL clog your filter and lint trap. After washing and drying mine, my dryer needed to be serviced because lint went far beyond the trap itself and the dryer stopped running because it was overheating. This is a safety feature built into LG dryers, but very costly to fix. Photos show about 1/8th of the lint the dryer repairman pulled out by hand, and he used a special vacuum to reach the rest.

More natural fibers, please!!

The blanket on my bed is a cotton woven blanket that I bought from Target in like 2016. It had become threadbare in some areas so I cut it down and re-hemmed it. And I’ve been on the hunt for a new cotton blanket. I refuse to polyester. I was in Target and saw the natural plaid on clearance for $28. At that price, it was definitely worth giving it a shot. I washed it and it washed and dried just fine. I have no issues with the blanket stitching around the edge.

I LOVE this blanket. Not too hot, not cold, super snuggly, and I had no problems with the stitching after I washed it like some people said they do. I’d say it gets more cozy after each wash. I also love the hint of plaid that it brings to primary master bedroom.

I'm happy to see Target carrying more cotton blankets. The colors were nice, but would have liked other colors including not plaid. I wanted the navy, but it sold out too fast. I haven't washed it yet.

I love this 100% brushed cotton blanket. It is soft, cozy and it breaths. It is medium weight and great for layering in winter. I will use in the summer too. It is hard to find 100% cotton OEKO-TEX blanket. I noticed the lint comments but after a few washes it's not an issue. I really love the look and feel so I bought two. One on sale!

Horrible.

This blanket is horrible. Just washed it to use for the first time horrible. So much lint that I have to go over with a lint sticky roller. Very disappointing. It also left lint all over my bed.

Not the Color I Expected

I reallly like this blanket, however, the shade of green in it is not what I think it looks like in the photos. I was wanting a very deep forest green, and this is a lighter Christmas green. Other than that, it is nice for the money. Not sure if I will keep it as I am very picky about colors! :)
