Butterfly 2-in-1 Swaddle and Transitional Sleep Sack - Green

I had 8 of these to get through twin newborn stage. They are the best in the game. Babies can’t wiggle out. No loud Velcro. Safe, snug and best of all - actually EASY to put on!! I wish I brought these to the hospital.

As a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist, I have used many different swaddles over the years. It has been really exciting to try the new Butterfly Swaddle. So much care and time were put into the craftsmanship as evident the moment you see the box - yes, even the box was crafted with care and the directions are right on the back. When you take The Butterfly Swaddle out of the box, you will feel how soft the mixed organic fabric is and see the fine details with the covered zipper and the mesh wings on the sleep sack. The wings are excellent for slowing down the startle reflex, often present in newborns, and even older babies. The best part? The amazing outer wrap that wraps around the baby's arms, placed just below the shoulders, to help baby sleep soundly. This wrap has SILENT "Velcro"! You will not disturb baby if you need to unwrap them to feed, it will be a gentle transition as you open the wrap and then re-wrap after eating. Baby will not get scratched by rough Velcro. An added bonus is that as baby starts to roll, you already have a sleep sack and you stop using the outer wrap, so it is quite versatile. With all the things you might have on your wishlist, this should be at the top, and ideally you own 2 or 3 - one on the baby, one in the drawer, and one in the wash. Those middle of the night blowouts might mean two in the wash and you do not want to be without your favorite swaddle. I highly recommend this swaddle!

I have bought this swaddle twice for baby shower gifts and the new moms have loved them!!! The swaddle is sooo soft and they tell me the 'silent Velcro' is a total life saver. I would definitely recommend this for shower gifts or if you are about to be a new mom...add it to your registry!!

Literally the best swaddle we own. We had a couple other swaddles for this and they all had the same problem our son was able to squeeze out of them or they just didn’t wrap around him properly. Also as our son got bigger the swaddles didn’t grow with him. but the butterfly swaddle was much different it wrapped are son nice and tight at night. And as our son grew bigger the swaddle still fit him so he was able to wear it for quite a few months. and once he got to the point where he was able to have his arms out The swaddle easily adjusted to make a great sleeper for our son. Easily the best swaddle that you can buy right now hands-down would recommend to everyone!!!

For our first 2 children we used several other brands of swaddles but for our third we were told about the Butterfly Swaddle from a friend - what a game changer! I mean the fabric is super soft and I love that it's organic, you can tell it's very high quality. Our babies are known to be houdinies but this swaddle was made to keep them snug but grow with them when they're ready with the ability to put one arm out, then two. The wings are super helpful to reduce the startle reflex, even when the arms are out. And of course, the genius silent velcro is so much easier to work with than the other brands as it doesn't disturb the baby and is easier to wash. Highly recommend this swaddle - it's definitely the best designed on the market.

As a new mom who’s newborn escaped 15 different brands of swaddles and woke himself up multiple times a night, the butterfly swaddle saved us! Trust me when I say this is the only swaddle you'll need on your registry. One (or two) in each size and you'll be set! We've been using this since LO was 7 weeks after many sleepless nights from other swaddles. Hes quite the escape artist usually. The suit is super cozy, and breathable. It's just warm enough without this sweaty little guy him overheat. I just put him in with a diaper on. The swaddle wrap part of it is genius. It never rides up even if hes having a particularly gassy and squirmy night. We have been working on transitioning him into arms out sleeping as hes just starting to learn how to roll. Its been a breeze! The webbing on the arms keeps him from jolting himself awake, but still allows him to stretch as needed. Did I mention the velcro is silent? Like, actually silent. Its ridiculously strong too and holds my wiggly guy in. Theres no jail breaking from this swaddle! Have I convinced you yet? Seriously, do yourself and your baby a favor and get yourself this swaddle!

I really love this swaddle because even though it assists with minimizing baby's startle reflex which can be disruptive for sleep...it still allows for slight movement which is also good for baby. the babies in Mt care who used this swaddle, enjoyed better quality of sleep!

I used to swear by the 'love to dream' swaddle for transitioning my babies, but desperately wanted to try the 'Butterfly Swaddle' as this design really allows you a variety of different ways to use it, with the swaddle wrap from day one to keep the babies arms from moving a round, and waking them up, or without the wrap, as babies grow allowing their arms to have a little more movement with the mesh wings, and on top of being made with one of the softest fabrics out there, it even has completely silent velcro with a two way zipper for easy night time diaper changes (an absolute must in my book!) An RN has designed something truly amazing for us mamas, after being in the baby business for decades, and really has hands on experience in seeing what works best for our babies!! I love this product and will definitely be referring it to all my friends and family with newborn babies ❤

This is a really different sleep sack, and is exceptionally great! It can be used with the swaddle band around it or just as a sleep sack on its own, and the velcro fastening is secure, and also TRULY SILENT for adjustments while the baby is sleeping - or while their twin is sleeping nearby. I can’t believe that nobody thought of this brilliant design before, where the baby’s arms cannot extend above their head (startle reflex) but can move by their sides and up to their mouths to suck on their hands. I’m a Newborn Care Specialist and have used every single type of sleep sack and swaddle since the 1990s, from muslin blankets onwards, and both of the twins I am caring for right now LOVE this swaddle sleep sack.
