Q: is the rack rust free?

  • A: I would suggest spray painting it with a rastolium spray paint if the coating eventually flakes. Mine did after 6-7 years of use and I just take it outside in the summer and hit any spots with a wire brush and a bit of paint. 10+ years and I wouldn't give mine up for nothing.

Q: Will this fit a king size comforter for drying?

  • A: It possibly could, I'm looking at my rack now & if you had the "wings" lay flat, I can imagine the comfortor hanging on it that way, it might still possibly touch the floor though. It could maybe be tried with the wings in the up position, but depending on how heavy the wet comforter is, i am not certain the rack would be able to support the weight. I have used mine to dry an xl queen before but i had hangers on the shower curtain rod which i used to clip one side of the comforter and then draped the rest over my rack. I can kind of see this method working on king size also, but again, depends on how heavy it gets. Hope this helps

    Just use door knobs

    This drying rack is the flimsiest drying rack I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. It nearly folded in on itself with a mostly dry towel more than three times. I’ve used drying racks my entire life and never struggled so hard to keep one standing, with nothing on it.

    Great rack to use in general. However, not the safest to use. The two ends in the center (when the rack is assembled and free standing) are VERY sharp. I cut both my arms just from accidentally lightly brushing them against those ends while reaching for something. They were what I thought to be simple cuts but those cuts led me to have to go to urgent care and get a tetanus shot. There seriously needs to be a warning label on the box about this.

    Flimsy, unstable, and the edges of the hinge at the top are *extremely* sharp—sliced up my forearm the first and only time I used this. Returned, and frankly, this should be recalled. The sharpness of those edges are dangerous.

    Dont buy this.

    We bought this drying rack on Feb 20, 2026 and were really excited to replace our old racks. Within this time, It has completely fallen apart. There is one arm left in tact. I am 5’2”, 125 lbs and my husband is taller 6’2” and 190 lbs but our clothes are not huge or heavy. It’s been used maybe twice a week. Super disappointing and really could use a refund but not sure how to navigate that now that the items been used.
