After struggling for 2 hours and having to purchase a special tool that the previous homeowners didn’t leave behind to remove my old faucet, I was relieved to find that this BWE faucet installed smoothly without any issues. Working within the cramped confines of the sink installation area against the wall, it took me about 45 minutes to install with my setup. If space had not been an issue, installation would likely have been quicker. The faucet was packed very well, containing everything needed for installation. The push-open/close drain mechanism is my preferred choice over the pull-up handle type, as it's easier to use and provides a better seal. This faucet exceeded my expectations. In my log home, the fixture looks significantly better and more appropriate style-wise. The cross handles are incredibly user-friendly, twisting on and off effortlessly. The length of the faucet itself is perfect for this sink, although I had to ensure it matched my sink dimensions before installation. The threading on the faucet and handles spins smoothly and effortlessly, indicating quality materials. The black finish didn't attract many smudges or fingerprints during installation, which was a plus. Since I have softened well water, I'll monitor its performance over time, but I don't anticipate any issues given that the bathroom sees minimal use and is regularly cleaned.
