I am late-20s with dry, acne prone skin. I wanted to love this and had high hopes after reading many reviews, but it’s not hydrating enough. I applied after exfoliating tonight and I liked the texture, but within 15 minutes my skin already had a dry texture. I’ll continue using to see if my thoughts change, but my immediate impression is not great. I do like the simple ingredients and that it has no scent.

$15.99 for less than 2 oz…. Seriously? I didn’t notice any difference, other than i broke out a little but not sure if it was due to this product. Just a very simple moisturizer, feels like every other one, i like the cleaner ingredients but for what you get… didn’t last me long at all.

BYOMA products are the best! I’ve had acne prone skin and I have been using their products and finishing my routine with this moisturizer. My skin has NEVER been better!! So clear so smooth and moisturized. Definitely recommend this brand

I don't recommend for acne prone skin. I only used it twice and had breakouts pop up in places I don't usually break out. I also wasn't struggling with any current breakouts and my acne is generally fairly under control. These were clearly clogged. Poor breakouts from the formula being too heavy. It was very moisturizing just not for acne prone skin.

A “rich” cream that actually doesn’t break me out! I have acne prone skin, but it’s also dry and I’ve been searching for a thicker moisturizer that won’t clog my pores. I was a little skeptical because I know some say shea butter can be comedogenic, but this formula is amazing. I can tell my skin barrier is stronger now and my skin tone is more even. So happy I found this brand and that I can get it at target!

Super rich and moisturizing but NOT hydrating at all. If you have very dry skin, this may help. However, this won’t help hydration at all.

It has no scent which I appreciate! It does not layer well over some products and has a tendency to pill up and fall off. I found it to leave a slightly greasy, oily feel to my face after using. Acne prone and sensitive skin.

I honestly really wanted to like this product as I have very acne prone skin and wanted a cheaper alternative to my la roche posay moisturizer but unfortunately it just isn’t for me. I have pretty dry skin and tend to break out easily so if you are the same or similar in any way I would not recommend this product. I’ve attached pictures of before and after using the product to hopefully help others! (after are the darker pictures)

I like the how the moisturizer absorbs to a nice smooth finish. I have a tendency to break out, so I hope that doesn’t happen. If I break out I’ll provide an update.

A little heavier than my usual (CeraVe) but feels a lot more moisturising and hasn't caused any breakouts. It looks small, but you do not need that much!! For reference, I don't have acne prone skin and it's more combination. I wouldn't recommend if you have oily skin.

I had high hopes for this moisturizer since I’ve been a big fan of byoma’s serums and toners. The moisturizer comes out feeling thick and rich but after putting it on it is so drying and after one use it gave me a horrible rash!

I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. I have oily, sensitive skin and have been using the cream for about a month and a half. Since I started using it, I’ve experienced persistent breakouts on my cheeks and chin, which I’ve never had before. It’s frustrating to see my skin react this way.

definitely not for acne-prone combo skin. my mom is combo-to-dry and she likes it a lot, but it broke me out all over my nose! beware if you’re acne-prone or oily in any way, but if you’re not, definitely try it out. the formula is SUPER rich and thick, so probably nice for drier skin. also, it only pumps out a small bit of product, but a little goes a long way.

2 stars because it is very hydrating but my face texture has never been worse. I’ve been using this plus their face wash and my face never seems to be clean and it clogs my pores. I grew up not having any acne and barely ever get a zit and not my face is covered in zits.
