[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really grateful to receive a sample of this to try. The scent is quite light, so not overpowering, and lasted for most of the day on me. The scent didn't quite suit me as well as others, but this is more of a personal thing rather than a comment on the scent itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed the scent of this perfume, however the only downside for me is that it was slightly too strong, however that might be a plus for some people! I received compliments when wearing this fragrance and the scent lasted throughout the day which is a very important factor for me when buying fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect all rounder cologne, suitable for all times of the day. Complementary range of notes from Lemmon to Amber, I wore the cologne to a number of settings including work and a date and received compliments on both occasions. Longevity of the cologne is good and sits on the skin well in a number of places, I could still smell it after a long day at work. Vegan formula and suitable for all genders! In my opinion, it is absolutely worth a try. Compares well with high street and high end colognes for a fraction of the price!

Maybe the other scents from Byredo are nicer but this wasn't it for me. When I first sprayed it, I couldn't really smell it. Then when it dried down it was actually quite strong. Which would be great if it is a scent you like.

I was originally unsure if this would be suitable for women but I was pleasantly surprised as I think this would suit men or women of any age. The scent reminds me of Angel but with more of a "warmth" to it. I've had nice comments from my family when wearing it.

I normally buy fairly cheap perfumes and I could tell from the scent that this one is much more expensive and luxurious due to the intensity, complexity of scent. I'm usually in to more floral and woody perfumes so it was new to me to try one with more tobacco, leather tones alongside familiar violet smells It's a genderless perfume so I shared it with my husband and think it suits both of us, but does smell slightly different with each of us. It's a very strong scent so I initially felt quite self conscious wearing it but did like the faded smell. I don't think I'd buy a full size, mainly due to the price of a bottle, but it has been a lovely treat to sample it.

Truly fascinating - sweet, innocent opening of citrus and floral notes, followed by a rapid descent into filthy, diesel-y tobacco notes. Projection doesn't last quite as long/strong as other Byredo scents, but it's quite an addictive perfume!

When I first put it on I didn't like it at all as it was too leathery smelling but after an hour it did grow sweeter and started to smell nicer. Unfortunately this scent is just not "me". This is a very masculine scent where as I prefer something sweeter. It gave me a slight headache and reminds me of a diffuser however, on the right person it will smell great and would be worth it as lasts a long time

It is a very long lasting perfume and lasted all day and smelt really sting. the drydown gives a little bit of everything.

Feels like more oil than alcohol that you see in a lot of perfumes. The scent develops over a few hours. I feel like even after 12-14hrs I could still smell it on my wrist. Very long lasting. It’s a very timeless scent. Something I believe in my opinion is more suited to a mature user as a gift. Overall, a unique fragrance worth getting a sample to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ‘Animalique’ Byredo fragrance was an anticipated release I was excited to test out. As the name suggests, it promises to evoke a sensual, primal edge. To my surprise, I found the scent to have a soft, floral, powdery, suede smell with a subtle animalistic touch. Blended with natural botanical extracts; bergamot and lemon, supported by a floral centre of violet and mimosa, enhanced by a robust base of herbal tobacco, amber and suede. I would personally reserve this particular fragrance for a special occasion or a big night out - I love it!
