Mauve, not light pink.
Very pretty but it’s not light pink as it states nor the color in the advertising photo. It’s a brownish-mauve. Photos below. I was a little disappointed. I’ll return these and order another set that C&F makes that seems to be light pink or peach. I really can’t tell from the photo but I’m going to try it. If you want a brownish-mauve, these are the placemats for you!

This is a beautiful print, but the background is “yellow”, which they don’t state in the description. In the ad looks like it’s a cream color.

Beautiful!
These placemats seem to be well made and are just a pretty in person as seen on the website! Thoroughly enjoying them! AND the size is great so I can set a dinner plate AND a glass on the placemat. I have not washed yet, but hope they do not shrink (they are 100% cotton). Cold water wash on gentle cycle and lay flat to dry should take care of no shrinking.
