My husband and I buy these every year, bags and bags of them. They were hands down our favorite Easter candy. We bought a bag for the first time this year and we both were really disappointed in the flavor! They don’t taste as good as they have previously. They’re still okay but they don’t give nearly as much satisfaction as years prior. I thought maybe we had a bad batch or that we were going crazy or something until I read these reviews and saw how many people say the same thing! It’s really a shame, because they truly were something we loved to share together. Oh well, Reese’s eggs it is then!

I get these mini eggs every year and this year they are different. The hard shell coating is now much thicker and harder to bite into and either the chocolate has also changed or the extra shell covers up the flavor too much. I’m so disappointed! These aren’t good anymore.

These are no longer the Cadbury Mini Eggs we all used to adore. The candy shell is thicker yet somehow stale and less crunchy, and it has a somewhat bumpy mouthfeel where it used to be velvety smooth. If the changes to the shell weren't bummer enough, the chocolate inside has worsened, too. These eggs are now less chocolatey, less rich, more fatty—and they have a slightly grainy consistency as they melt in your mouth. These used to be my very favorite candy and I so looked forward to them hitting the shelves every Easter. Please, Cadbury, bring back the old recipe. The new Mini Eggs taste like a cheap mockery of the original. Such a disappointment!

The cadbury mini eggs that I look forward to buying EVERY year around this time do NOT taste the same... this is so sad---Our family waits for them to come out every year and they know that i will bring them all multiple bags until we can no longer get them--I thought the first bag I bought was bad, so, I bought two more...YUCK! Why? Not only do I love to eat them, I use them on my baked goods for my business---They don't even look the same---The shell texture makes it feel like it is stale...

They do not taste the same, and have lost that milk chocolate creaminess. That's it for me. For the record Hershey's is the worst tasting chocolate in the world and you have now ruined Cadbury Mini Eggs here in the US .....
