I love Cadbury chocolate eggs. Look forward to this time of the year to buy them. I bought three bags of different varieties. I like to set them out in a pretty display for guests. The rainbow eggs will not make it into my candy dish unfortunately. The majority were cracked, broken, or simply crumbled into tiny pieces unworthy of even eating. Kinda disappointed. Fortunately the other bags were much more intact.

They are a completely different recipe. Chalky, cheap-tasting, overly-sweet chocolate and thicker shell has replaced what used to be super creamy and delicious, delicately-shelled delight. SAD!

Delicious, as always! The rainbow colors are fun!! Just be cautious that these are 8 oz., and the regular-colored bags are 9 oz. for the same price. I like the rainbow colors but I like more chocolate more than I care about the colors.

Well, these are not only pretty to look at, but they are absolutely delicious. Like you will not be able to eat just a handful. More like you better put the bag away or next thing you know, you will reach into the bag to grab more to munch on and then sorrow will quickly set in as you come to the awful realization that your bag is empty. You better just buy two (or more) bags next time. They are crunchy on the outside and creamy smooth chocolatey on the inside. Absolutely scrumptious! : )

If you love the original milk chocolate mini eggs do not do your mouth the disservice of eating these. The shells are thin and less powdery than the original. They also stick to your teeth. And the chocolate tastes saltier. They’re weird and upsetting.
