[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a bit surprising, as most light roast coffee are lacking in flavor, which this absolutely was not. Cafe Bustelo Light Roast is actually full of flavor, and tastes like real bean coffee but brewed through your k-cups brewer. Slightly bold but not bitter, it's perfect for everyday coffee drinking. I like my coffee with a little bit of creamer and some sweetener and they pair perfectly with this. You can make your perfect creation or drink this black. It's honestly good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes medium roast coffees are too acidic for me so I’ll drink light roast. Not all light roasts are created equal however. Some are too watery and have no taste. Fortunately, this one is really good and although light still has a nice flavor profile. It’s the perfect breakfast coffee as it’s light but still wakes you up. It’s very smooth and clean. This doesn’t bother my stomach at all. Even the box is fun and cheerful! My husband likes it too which speaks volumes because he’s very picky with light roasts. I’ll definitely be purchasing this once this box is empty!

I received two to review and I personally preferred the other flavor better than this light roast just because I normally prefer a medium roast coffee. But overall this light roast has a good flavor and smelled really good.

You assume that "light roast" means it doesn't have the same flavor as the original, but this is like the sweet, fruity little sister of the medium roast. Came in a convenient Keurig-style box perfect for stacking, especially since I'm low on counter space. I didn't get the same jitters as you normally would with a regular Bustelo, but I expected that.

It can be hard to find a good light roast because many times you find that it just does not have enough of that bold coffee flavor that you want when you have a cup of coffee. Many times, it will come out looking see-through and taste more like water with a hint of coffee. Café Bustelo's light roast did not have that problem. It still hit with that warm, rich flavor I was looking for. I am a girl who likes her coffee with some sweetness, and I am always adding creamer flavors to give it that. I was shocked that this had a little sweetness to it before I even added my creamer. I still added creamer for a little more of that sweetness, but combined with the sweet richness of the coffee, it made for an amazingly delicious cup of coffee. I would say if you like a light, rich, coffee with a hint of sweetness, this is something you will love much like I do.
