insulting - NOT Latino product
This is NOT a Latino/Hispanic product. It was founded by a Euro-Spaniard in NY in 1928 and is now owned by the American food corporation J.M. Smucker. Do better target!

I don't understand all the great reviews - this tastes a little bit like burnt cardboard to me. It's not the worst coffee I've ever had, but I won't buy this again. Better is available for the price.

Rich Bold Flavor!

My favorite coffee
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far my favorite brand of coffee. So when I was asked to review them, I jumped at the chance. I got a bag of the coffee grounds and a bag of the whole beans so that I could make chocolate covered espresso beans.

Coffee not espresso
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drink regular bustelo everyday but when I brewed a pot of just this medium roast coffee it just was not the same. It was coffee not espresso and I did not like it. The flavor was too mild for my taste.

Very dark for a medium roast, almost bitter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our household is a bit on the coffee snob side (we tend to buy from local roasters and grind our own beans), but I’ve enjoyed Cafe Bustelo coffee in the past, so I was curious about the whole bean options. Supermarket coffees tend to be darker than their roast level indicates, and that is the case here. The medium roast is very dark and verges on bitter. The beans themselves are larger and less uniform than the coffee we usually buy, and they look darker as well. This coffee isn’t bad, but it’s not my preference.

Great Cup of Coffee
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice medium roast that still has a good strong flavor without a burnt taste. I used our conical burr grinder on a medium coarse setting. The smell of the beans is wonderful. I don’t know how strong the caffeine content is because I’m the type of person who can drink coffee and take a nap afterwards, but it was still nice with a little 2% milk and turbinado sugar. I would purchase this again.

Great Cup of coffee!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Café Costello medium roast whole bean and ground coffee for free for my honest review. This is a product I have seen in stores, but never purchased before because I didn’t know the brand and I did not care for the packaging. Now that I have tried this product, I will purchase again. The coffee had a very subtle dark chocolate note to it and was very smooth. The fragrance is welcoming and it was very low acid. A very enjoyable cup of coffee, whether it was from ground or fresh ground from the bean.
