Eddie Bauer Camano Island Plaid Quilt Set Red

A: I bought this Eddie Bauer Camano Island quilt in size King approx. end of March 2019. Though it says under 'Details' on Target's main page that the whole thing is 100% cotton, mine is not. On the label it says it is made out of 80% cotton, 20% poly. Not cool. It is also very thin. Which is okay I guess, as I am always hot, but I expected a better quality full cotton quilt. I guess I should have known I wasn't going to get that for $70 for a king. I thought Eddie Bauer would have better quality. I haven't measured it, but put it on my King bed to test size and it has about a foot or slightly less on each side. I've seen on reviews on another site that some say it fits their King bed perfectly, but I think the King would look better on a Queen, b/c it does not give you full coverage on the sides. I'm glad the quilt isn't dragging on the floor, but it probably could use another foot on each side to have what I would say is typical coverage. I don't think it is quite as large as the measurements say. I will add that however the King quilt shams are the biggest I've ever seen. I have this long piece of memory foam that I use as a bolster and, I kid you not, a King sham covers it! I wish they would allow you the option to choose 2 regular shams b/c I don't have any king sized pillows and frankly, don't want any. Often I can get away with King shams on my standard pillows with only an inch or two extra room, but these have several inches to spare on both sides. If I had a pet, the size & look of one of the King shams w/king sized pillow would make a nice pet bed. Anyway, I felt I had to weigh in b/c I think people should have accurate information before buying. It would have affected my decision. As it is, it might be going back despite the good price.
