Camp Snap Screen-Free Digital Camera - Black

I says it is Neon Yellow but on the box its Neon Acid and it looks more green than the picture on the website which is quite disappointing not going to lie so just beware it is slightly greener than what it looks like. I am going to have to paint over it to make it look like the yellow on the picture.

We bought this a month ago and love it so much! It's fun for everyone in the family to use. We have already made some prints and put them in frames as well. The filters are really nostalgic and make the experience of using the camera so awesome from start to finish!

I love campsnap. It’s the best thing to come around. It’s light and easy to travel and use.

The screen that displays the number of photos does not work. It worked for a day and that was it. The camera is a fun experience but has a learning curve for younger children to make sure they don’t move at all when taking a picture. Overall a great thing to send with them on trips, camp, etc. Just a little disappointed the number screen doesn’t work.

I bought this for our rafting trip down the Gates of Lodore - this camera was perfect! I bought the waterproof case but didn’t end up needing it much, especially since every time you want to turn the camera on/off you’d have to open the case. It was a 4 night trip and I only had to charge it once for a little while. It was so much fun to just snap a photo and wait to see what it looked like later! Sometimes I wish it had a zoom feature, especially since we saw a bunch of bighorn sheep that were further away, but the photos still came out pretty epic!

I found the photos didn’t look “vintage” as they were advertising. They just looked to be bad quality. A bit disappointed in the purchase

I bought this a month ago and I want to bring it everywhere with me because of How lightweight it is and I know that I’m going to be capturing intentional moments with it while being present, which gives me the opportunity to leave my phone elsewhere.

It's very fun to use and I love that it is screenless, however downloading the images straight to my phone is a huge challenge and I am waiting to hear back from the company for guidance.

Such a fun and cute way to capture memories. The pictures turn out great and can be uploaded straight to your phone.

Bought this item a month ago, great quality and super easy to use. Takes great pictures and you can quickly view them on your phone.

While the filter and camera are cool. The way to transfer photos to iPhone 14 plus isn't easy. I might have to return the camera because it's kind of a annoying process.

Small screen-less camera that’s light weight for hiking.

It works great, super easy to transfer photos and takes them easily with excellent quality. Also without the screen we worry less about what they look like and get to stay in the moment. Battery is plenty long

I bought this to save memory space on my phone. I took it to a NASCAR Race. I took identical photos one with my phone, one with my Camp Snap... To my amazement, the Camp Snap took a better photo of a cool moonlit sky. Overall, I am pleased!!!

Best new purchase ever! The image quality is great and nostalgic, hardly needs to charge and it’s so easy to use. My two year old can even use it!

Okay, there is a lot of good and some bad here, and I’ll start with the good. It’s a super fun camera to shoot with. Incredibly light, compact, and surprisingly durable. And unlike my Flashback v2, you can just snap, snap, snap to your heart’s content. There are no artificial limits. So it doesn’t feel contrived. It feels fun. I wish the lens were offset to the other side, so my fingers didn’t get in the way, but these are little ergonomic quirks and I quickly learned to accommodate them. In terms of the experience of taking photos? It’s easy to see why it’s such a hit. The bad? The images just aren’t very appealing. In fact… they’re so questionable I genuinely find it curious that the camera has become as popular as it has. And my camera is the latest v105 version, so no excuses. Unlike the Flashback, which creates warm, rich, emotional images pretty much every time, the photos I get out of the Camp Snap have more of a… low-grade digital feel. If the goal is to generate output that reminds people a bit of old disposable film cameras, they have missed the mark by a wide, wide margin. Dynamic range is terrible, the images are poorly (and, weirdly, inconsistently) exposed, highlights are perpetually blown out, and there is ghosting, fringing, halos, and chromatic aberrations. The photos don’t look like they were taken on a disposable film camera. They look like they were taken on a flip phone camera from 2003. I showed some to a friend, which were taken in good light with the original supplied “classic” filter, and he said: “What are those? Screen grabs from a security camera?” After playing with all the various filters to no avail, and even having a go at making my own through the Camp Snap “custom filter” option on the website, I was losing hope and planning to give the camera away. But as a last report I ordered a couple third-party filters (from Camp Shades) and installed them. BLAMMO. That changed everything. Don’t get me wrong, the limitations of the sensor and the general lack of warmth are still here, but with the “Ultra” filter from Camp Shades the images I get out of the camera now are much closer to what I was hoping for originally. And because the little Camp Snap is SO FUN to shoot with, now that I get images I kinda like? I’m shooting it a lot more and it sits happily alongside my Flashback v2. In short? It’s a brilliant idea let down by the images it produces. And none of us want sharp, modern optics and sensors in a camera like this, but we DO want warm, rich, emotional images that remind us of classic film photography. And even with professionally made aftermarket filters, the Camp Snap just doesn’t produce those.

Perfect for my kids at camp. Bought these for the whole family. Easy to use and captures great photos (from the few test shots). I recommend fully charging before camp as the battery was only 60% charged out of the box. Hope the kids take time to take some photos!
