Description
Campo Viejo Garnacha Red Wine is an innovative and expressive wine that reflects Campo Viejo's commitment to pushing the boundaries and expertise in Rioja winemaking. A vibrant expression of Garnacha, this Spanish wine has a soft, silky, fresh mouthfeel with juicy fruit and wild herbs on the palate. It offers fresh fruit on the nose, including strawberry, raspberry, cherry and blackberry elevated by floral notes of violet and lilac, and sweet spices and tobacco enhance and wrap the fruit. This dry wine is made with Garnacha grapes from Rioja Oriental, aged in French and American oak barriques for 4 months, where it gains toasted aromas to complement the primary fruit character. Serve this red wine with vegetables, beef, lasagna, pasta, pizza, burgers or appetizers. Add some pasión with Campo Viejo wines. Drink Responsibly.

Affordable and adaptable easy-drinking red.
Nice, chewy, a little dry but with a good mouth feel. Easy drinker with spicy foods & even some Spanish flavors with seafood (white wine isn’t the only answer, daggonit). Smells nice in a glass; it’s really a good experience for an affordable wine.

I find this wine to be so yummy and at a great price point! I always bring this over to friends houses for parties since it’s affordable and everyone loves it! Definitely pickup a bottle for your next girls night or movie night!

Really wasn’t a fan of the taste. Definitely wasn’t what I was expecting it to taste like. I tried it cold, chilled and room temperature. Still a no for me.

I actually use this wine to make desserts. Mouses, creams, cakes, cookies. It’s a fruity wine with notes of strawberry, blackberries, cherries and raspberries. It’s a silky fresh feel. Tastes nice alone or like I use it for baking.

It's a good mass
It's a good mass production grenache. It's nothing too too much depth but got a nice tart cherry up front and a little bit of oak and a kiss of spice. Overall a great value

Campo Viejo garnacha has all the complexity you expect from this ancient grape. It's a dry, sometimes heavy red that goes down smooth and treats you to a spicy finish. Perfect with an aged sheep's milk cheese or tender tomatoes.
