Piece of garbage broke within the first two minutes of using it. Couldn’t even cut through one lid. In the end I had to hack the can open which a knife, which was not a fun experience. Two thumbs down 👎👎

Rusted super quick and it’s uncomfortable to use.

never thought i could be more disappointed with a can opener before. it truly did not work at all. definitely returning.

Perfect for our camper

I didn’t expect grandeur for $3, but it doesn’t work. It keeps popping off the track, and hurts my hand & arm to use it, I need to turn it THAT hard. I had to take a break to open one can. It looks like a can opener but it isn’t. Returning this and getting a different brand.

I can’t believe they sell this, it’s that bad.

It's very hard to open any can using this opener. It literally broke the third time I tried opening a can with it.

Broke the first time we used it.

Used twice because most of the cans have the built in top that opens the can. This can opener is horrible and cuts the can jagged and there were slices of metal in the soup because of the poor quality!

My parents owned 2 can openers over the course of my childhood into my early adulthood. That’s about a 20-25 year span. I’m about to buy my third in less than 8 years. This one started of with promise but as you can see the plastic parts just can’t handle the strain like the metal parts of the 70’s, 80’s early 90’s. Don’t know what else to say other than it’s a piece of garbage.

Great price you could expect for the quality. It is made with plastic parts and even though it is a good quality plastic it didn't last long and didn't survive another can.

My old can opener (different brand) stopped working after about a year and a half. I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on another for the same thing to happen. Target definitely delivered with this one. Great for someone on a budget or looking to spend less for the same quality as an expensive one. I’ve probably opened over 150 cans with this so far ( I cook a lot, especially using canned beans, tomatoes, etc.) It’s very smooth and doesn’t require much effort which is great for someone like me who has carpal tunnel, and nerve damage in my wrist/hand/fingers.

My old can opener broke, so I found myself in need of a new one. I was going to go with something fancy but thought “why?” I’m glad I opted for the economical option. It’s 100% acceptable.

Biggest piece of junk ever. This can opener literally broke the first time I used it. The twist handle just broke off. I would strongly avoid this garbage. Spend a few bucks more on a better quality can opener but not this one.

I’ve had a kitchen aid can opener and it didn’t work half as well as this one does. Seriously, this thing gives me clean openings.

Affordable & durable! Works just like any other spendy Can opener but at a much better price!

Very smooth cutting goes all the way around the can without sticking or needing reset. And at this price it's a 100% must!
