I really use to love Cantu products many years ago but something has happened. I did recently purchase this for my household. It's not my fave it is not very thick and it definitely doesn't define any curls for me personally. It just sits on my hair. I do not like it. ( I have 3c/4a hair if you are into hair typing)

I bought this product for me and my sister, and before using it I loved the smell of it. I mostly use this after washing my hair or when my hair is frizzy. This product smells good and it works for a good moment, other than that it’s just a nice smelling hair product. So if you want your hair to smell sweet and keep the frizz down temporarily then I recommend it for that

Although this product works well, I used it on dry hair, the perfume is so overpowering I don’t feel like I can wear this while working closely with others. And for a person who maybe wears a perfume this would most certainly clash.

I bought this a few years ago when I first transitioned to natural hair care and was misled by the fact that it says it's for waves. When I first applied it to my hair, it was so weighed down it wouldn't dry properly. My hair used to be wavy/curly back then and on rather on the fine side so it is definitely more for kinky, thick hair. The product is extremely thick so even a smaller amount would probably weight my hair down. It is also loaded with fragrance, with it being one of the main ingredients, however the coconut smell is pleasant.
