Q: We use Cantu kids on my 3 yr old son. I've noticed that his hair still looks a little dry. The only way to help it is if I completely wet his hair before adding in the curl cream. Which I can not do in the winter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Something changed with the product’s formula. Nothing has changed for my kids’ hair routines, but their hair has ended up nearly as dry as if I put nothing in it. I hope this was just a bad batch. Previously, we have used this product exclusively for the past four years.

Left residue in my sons hair. Even though I brushed it through. I washed with Shea moisture baby shampoo followed by the conditioner. I then spritz his damp hair with kids leave in and followed it with this butter cream and twisted his hair up. Woke up for the day and he has white residue in his hair. So I’ll be returning and trying something else. Possibly, Just For Me, like I used as a child.

I use this product for my son’s hair. He has thick curly hair and it can get very dry at times. His hair is also shoulder length. I use this after I comb his hair out. It keeps his curls hydrated and bouncy.

Accentuates my little girl’s natural curls and keeps them looking hydrated and not frizzy. BUT the smell is very strong and as a pregnant mama, quite nauseating. I wish they would’ve toned it down a bit. It smells great but it’s just so strong. It’s a gorgeous product through and the consistency is nice. Doesn’t leave hair feeling sticky or stiff. Definitely will be purchasing again.

My daughter is 3 years old and gives what you’d expect from a 3 year old. She’s flipping and flopping and crazy, with that so is her hair. This product has been a life saver in keeping her hair from frizzing up and getting tangly no matter how many flips and flops she does throughout the day.

I used this on my toddler who has 3c hair that gets frizzy. The product works well but does not last as his hair gets frizzy through out the day. It is also heavily fragranced which can lead to lots of sneezing if you’re sensitive

This is one of our daily uses , combined with a leave in conditioner and some water it keeps my daughters 4c hair nice and moisturized and allows me to style it as needed . Sometimes I feel like it’s a bit too greasy but I’ve had worse options so we will stick with this one !
