Q: I bought one and opened it and it was like jello. I added water to it to see if that would help and It was still chunky. Any tips?

A: I use this on extremely wet hair after showering. A tiny bit rubbed between my palms and apply to all hair. Scrunch after with towel to remove excess water. Leaves hair defined with curl. It is supposed to be thick. A little goes a long way.

Not the right consistency
This used to be one of my go to products so I know the consistency well. This most recent one I purchased was actually solid when I got home and opened it. It was not that loose jelly consistency it’s supposed to be. So I will be returning. I was unable to use.

Good for those with thicker, coarse hair
Smells nice. I found it quite thick on my hair so it weighed my hair down, which I did not want. Does have a strong hold on my hair. I do like how it includes natural ingredients, but it just does not work for my hair unfortunately.

Makes my hair look dirty
I have fine, curly hair with multiple curl patterns. This product makes my hair and neck sticky, and my hair look dirty. My hair doesn't seem to ever fully dry with this product in it either. And even after scrunching the crunch, my hair is still crunchy in areas. I've tried using less and it doesn't help. Definitely do not recommend.

I thought I was transported back to the 80’s
I applied this product very sparingly to my freshly shampooed hair and 5 hours later my hair was still wet. My hair felt like I had applied a curl activator product to it. Example products like care free curl or wave nouveau even the next day my hair still felt like I used a product from the 80’s

Frizz free smooth curls

Good for airdryed looks
My boyfriend and I are both curly headed. My usual routine consists of a cream/gel combo and diffusing. My boyfriend’s curly girl routine is a little bit of this curling soufflé and then he lets it air dry. When we first got together I was jealous that his hair could look so good without minimal effort. Absolutely not fair. One day I decided to use this and I let it air dry and I was impressed. It added moisture to my hair and it held my curl well. Beware though my fellow fine haired girlies, a SMALL amount of this is needed. Make sure you work it through your hair. And if you’re like me, my hair is used to being diffused. So it did take some effort scrunching my hair with a microfiber hair towel just to ensure my hair dried curly and not weird. After using this a couple times, and my hair getting used to it, it’s a great product to use for an airdryed curly look

Keeps my hair moisturized!
I have 4C water-loving hair. I use this on top of my favorite moisturizer for twists after my hair washing routine. It adds shine & allows my hair to retain moisture for a loooonnngggg time; 1-2 weeks after I’ve applied it. It’s a certified part of my routine !

The texture was not consistent. It was very clumpy and hard to get out of the jar as well as actually work into my hair. This products left mu hair extremely sticky. Does dry well but anytime you touch your hair your hands will be sticky, and that’s annoying. Curls were more defined and had a nice moisturized look when it dried. Also, stains any clothes product comes into contact with.
