Beautifully scented gel good for a curly hair and

Because of its texture, it feels heavy when applying, but after drying the curls, the hair doesn’t feel heavy. It washes out nicely. It is tacky when you apply only and it doesn’t irritate my scalp. The texture is thick and jiggly almost like a soft jelly. It melted right into my hair without feeling greasy. The scent is light and tropical without being overwhelming. Packaging is super practical too. It comes in a sturdy jar that’s easy to scoop from, and a little really does go a long way. It gave my curls great definition and shine, keeps frizz in check, and dries without flakes or crunch as long as you don’t overdo it. Perfect for twist-outs, braid-outs, or a defined wash-and-go.

I also want to mention that this is slighter lighter weight in regards to consistency. The scent of this product is BEAUTIFUL and lasts in my hair all day. This is great for a quick style and air dry. I typically like to add on other products just for extra hold, but for this one, you don’t have to do that. It definitely gives my hair a healthy shine! I highly recommend this!

I typically do my hair in a slick back style but I don’t like covering my hair with gel so the amount I use does the job really well. That being said if you prefer a stronger hold/defined look I would recommend looking elsewhere or possible adding more gel sims I don’t need a super defined I am happily pleased with this gel.

Disappointing Gel That Leaves Noticeable White Fl

The texture feels promising at first, but once it dries, it leaves a lot of white residue on the hair—even when using a small amount. The flakes get worse if you layer it with any leave-in conditioner, making the hair look dusty and unwashed. It also doesn’t provide the long-lasting hold it claims, and the finish looks dull rather than defined. For the price, I expected much better performance. Unfortunately, it’s not a product I’d recommend if you want clean, smooth results without buildup.

Great Gel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with the scent, if you have strong aversions to smell this isn’t the gel for you. But if you have no preference or like scents this gel is great. I absolutely adore the smell, it’s sweet and floral and just so yummy for a gel. I’m typically not the biggest fan of the scents shea moisture use in their products but this scent in particularly just reminds me of Hawaii. In terms of the effectiveness of the gel it’s great. It’s nice, thick, easy to apply and helps my daughter curls do from dry to nice and curly. I love how easy the gel is to work with. It’s not a super heavy product that doesn’t leave her curls feeling heavy and crunchy. The curls remain bouncy all day. It doesn’t leave any product build up and fairly easy to clean. Honestly a great product.

Unfortunately, for my loose wavy hair I was not impressed. I think it is still too heavy in consistency if you have wavy hair, and it did not have a great hold either.
