I buy this for my sons and daughter, who are mixed with curly hair. It works well, reviving thier curls and bringing the bounce out. For the price it’s a nice treatment to do at home and gives great results. It comes in a pouch that can be used all at once, or divided between two treatments, depending on your hair needs.

I’ve been using this masque once every few days and I can definitely see a difference in my hair! It feels softer, more hydrated, and a lot less frizzy. The texture is thick and creamy, and it smells amazing. I leave it on for about 15-30 minutes depending on how dry my hair feels, and it works wonders. Great for natural curls or dry, damaged hair. Highly recommend!

I choose to shop ethically and make choices that do not cause animal suffering. I love that the brand is cruelty free and the packaging is recyclable. I like that the product is formulated with shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, macadamia seed oil, mango seed butter, carrot seed oil, and rapeseed oil. I like that the product is formulated without mineral oil, paraffin, silicone, sulfates, parabens, alcohol, and propylene glycol. I like the coconut fragrance. I have colored-treated natural type 3 curls that tend to become dry, brittle, and frizzy due to my vitamin D deficiency. I have well water with a water softener. I applied the product thoroughly to my damp hair after shampooing my hair with a gentle clarifying shampoo and a treatment for removing hard water minerals. I covered my hair with a processing cap and allowed the product to set in my hair for 30 minutes as directed. There is enough product in the single-use packet to use the treatment on my thin medium-length hair twice. My hair felt and looked softer, shinier, and smoother after using the product. I love how this deep treatment masque works on my hair. I have 3b/3c hair with curls and ringlets out of control. Also honey blonde hair with highlights so I need a great conditioning treatment. Now this treatment is super thick so I can only use half of it on my hair. Cover with a plastic cap and put my microwaveable heat cap on top for 30 minutes. Rinse out with lukewarm water and use my Cantù Curl Activator creme using the praying hands technique to avoid over application of the product. Also before adding the Cantù Curl Activator Creme. I put a small amount of leave in conditioner ( Cantù leave in treatment with Shea Butter) . All in all, the treatment masque provides great hydration. The shampoo is not good and only cause tangles so it stick to the Complete Conditioning Co-Wash in a tube by Cantù !!!

Used this on vacation after a full day at the waterpark. Worked great. My hair was even softer than before I got in the water! Haven’t used Cantù products in a long time, but I’d consider after using this.

I will never understand why Cantu isn't rated amongst one of the best haircare brands for waves, curls and coils out there!! This product is so rich and moisturizing as well as being really amazing at treating the damaged hairs. I absolutely recommend this product.

I’m looking for a less toxic alternative to my favorite hair masks, Moroccanoil and One n Only. Cantu has a better rating on EWG Skin Deep and similar active ingredients (Shea butter, argon oil, protein). I can tell this mask adds moisture because my waves are very well defined (for 2a, at least), but my hair has a straw-like texture after using. My hair also doesn’t feel thicker like it does with my favorite masks. Might be great for other hair textures, but not right for me :(

I used it and although it might have just been me my head started to burn as if all my hair was going to burn off so I had to hurry and rinse it all off I have used this brand before (the leave in conditioner) and never gotten this type of burning sensation

EXTREMELY thick and heavy!! It also matted my hair and when I began to detangle, a lot of my hair broke off!!!! Never again!!!

My hair feels thicker and shinier. Lets start from the beginning! My hair is thin and somewhat wavy before brushing . I have renetly been trying dofferent peoducts to improve my hair health, i saw this and firgured a couple bucks, ill try it. It came today and i used it right away on unwashed hair. I wet mt hair, then applied. The product is very thick and my hair got knotted trying to apply it. I hoped this would stop when rinsed as i tried to untangle with my hands during application with no success except riping out so much neede hair. I ded brush before and after wetting my hair. I left it on about half hour and rinsed...the knots came out without brishing, just the water itself and kind of moving my hand through it to get product out, i did not get stuck no further hair loss. Okay, i let ot dry and my hair seems thicker, literally. More wavy, and more healthy . I loved it. I dont know how often it should be used but ill use it again. Totlly worth the money for a one time use. There was a lot of product, my hair is long and i thought i might be able to get two uses if i skimp, i decided against , put it in and glad i did. You might get two uses for shorter hair. My hair is mid back and on the thinner side , again. Great product had to write a review. Also my hair is not overly curly and it is a bit ..it could use a brush after

I tried this even though I'm not a fan of Cantu, but I hadn't used it in a while. This product is heavy and heavily fragranced. When applying, it felt like it sat on top of my hair. When I rinsed it out, it felt like my hair was matted and greasy. I wouldn't try it again.

I bought this for my human hair wig, thinking it would be fine because the wig has natural hair. The cream smells really nice, like a Piña Colada, which is why I gave it a couple of stars. I was disappointed that the main ingredient was canola oil - cheapest possible, not necessarily beneficial (to my knowledge). The instructions said to rinse the product out thoroughly, which was very hard to do. Every time I thought it as all rinsed out, I would see clumps of it embedded into the wig cap. That’s not the company’s fault, because I was using it in an off-label way. But when I finally thought I’d truly rinsed it all out, I hung the wig to dry and in the morning the hair was crusty, crunchy and hard. So now I’ll have to rinse it out again, wait another day, and see what happens. I should have stuck to plain old conditioner - it would have saved a lot of time.
