The Marvel Studios Captain America Brave New World NERF Skyshot Blaster is an action-packed roleplay toy for boys and girls ages 5 and up. This Captain America toy includes 3 NERF darts that can be stored at the front of the blaster. To activate, load a dart, pull back lever to prep dart while activating pop-out wings, and push button on either side of the handle to fire! Captain America shield blaster also features an adjustable strap and can comfortably fit most kids ages 5 and up. Awesome concept... terrible product
Bought 2 in the store for my 2 boys to battle. Neither worked upon opening. Came online to check reviews and someone gave idea to pull back primer even further (almost like 3 clicks). The tricked worked on 1 of them. Yet not for the other one. It still doesn’t shoot the nerf bullet. Now that I see the other reviews with same issue…. I regret my purchase. I have a very sad 5 year old and we’re heading back to return both of them.

Doesn't work right out of the box
I should've looked up the reviews before we purchased, all of the 1 star reviews are accurate. Target should not sell this toy anymore. Right out of the box it will not shoot. We followed all instructions, primed it by pulling it back and making sure the wings are out, and it won't shoot. Tried many things to fix. Frustrating. Will return and choose something else.

Do Not Purchase- broken
Wish we had an option for zero stars. My son turned in his pacifiers for a super cool toy and was so disappointed when we got home. Does not work.. even tried the recommendation of pulling “a little harder” and didn’t work.. it actually ended up cutting up my hand. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Nerf portion doesn't work
Nerf shooting portion of the toy doesn’t work. My son is a little young for that portion of the toy so he still likes the wings popping out and pretending being Captain America. If he were older though he definitely would be unhappy.

This product does not work. Even if you pull the trigger all the way back until a second click, it is not shooting. Purchased a second one after returning the first and it still didn’t work. Very disappointed children.

Sweet looking Cap shield, affordable and shoots the darts super far
Any kid who knows his way around Nerf knows you have to prime the pump before you try to launch the dart. Pull back the lever to deploy wings and to prime the pump and then fire the dart. Shoots far. And the shield his sweet and sturdy and we love the wing effects. Get a Cap mask or the BNW face shield and you're really in business. Love it. Marvel + Nerf = Awesome Marvel Roleplay Adventures. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great toy for kids who like Captain America. Sky shot Blaster shoot far and it seems to be durable and will hold up to a 5 year old boy! He plays with it for hours. A blaster user-friendly and easy for him to put on and use all by himself, which makes playtime even more exciting. The darts are lightweight, accurate and safe.
