Q: From the pictures, it looks like the lids are not transparent. Is that so? I like to see if my water is boiling, etc.

A: We highly recommend hand washing over dishwasher usage! Dishwasher detergents tend to have harsh ingredients that can aid in the rapid deterioration of the nonstick coating.

A: Our longer-handled cookware, such as the Sauté Pan, Fry Pan, and Sauce Pan all have a notch a few inches up the handle. This notch designates at what point the handle should stay cool enough to grab with bare hands. Extended use could cause that warmth to increase slightly further up the handle, but it would not for nearly all regular meals and recipes!

I use these pans every single day. There are some precautions you must take to ensure they stay nonstick - no spray nonstick, oil only, and you must preheat the pan, avoiding high heat settings. If you do these things, they work like a dream.

I’m 62 years old and have used numerous different types of cookware such as teflon , stainless steel and cast iron. Caraway cookware is by far the best cookware I have ever used. The food doesn’t stick to the pans and they’re extremely easy to clean as well. My only regret is not having learned about Caraway sooner. Thank you for such an awesome product.
