Q: From the pictures, it looks like the lids are not transparent. Is that so? I like to see if my water is boiling, etc.

A: That's correct! Our lids are made from the same material and color as the body of the pans. There is a small steam hole that helps for boiling!

A: We highly recommend hand washing over dishwasher usage! Dishwasher detergents tend to have harsh ingredients that can aid in the rapid deterioration of the nonstick coating.

A: Our longer-handled cookware, such as the Sauté Pan, Fry Pan, and Sauce Pan all have a notch a few inches up the handle. This notch designates at what point the handle should stay cool enough to grab with bare hands. Extended use could cause that warmth to increase slightly further up the handle, but it would not for nearly all regular meals and recipes!

I wasn't sure what I was expecting because to be honest, I caved for the aesthetic. But the actual QUALITY of this set and all that it comes with is insane. So not only do you get the gorgeous cookware set but it also came with:- Magnetic cabinet organizers for each cookware item- A lid storage organizer to hang inside your cabinet (with the hooks to hang them with- A magic eraser to keep the color of your cookware set long lasting!I did test out cooking with the items. Flipping my eggs were sooooo smooth AND I didn't even have to use a spatula to serve them since they slid right off the pan!I wasn't sure how long the "white aesthetic" would last, but with the magic eraser, I can now take proper care of these items for a long time!PLUS I'm shocked at how much more space I actually have in my cabinets now with the organizer🙌🏽1000/10

Great while it lasts!
I bought my Caraway Cookware and Bakeware approximately 1.5 to 2 years ago. The Cookware was amazing in the beginning in terms of non-stick. I thought this was a great concept to use less cooking oil and use a product without all the added chemicals you find in traditional non-stick pots and pans. I continue to follow the cooking and care instructions to this day and even still have in stored in the back or the Bakeware holder. I use wooden cooking utensils only, non-abrasive soap and sponge, occasionally a small amount of baking soda to clean the pans if burnt, only cook on medium or lower temps, etc. The pans were great in the beginning in terms of non-stick but that went away, as many others have claimed in their reviews. While I do not believe this is cause for a 1-star review like others, I believe 3-stars is fair. At the end of the day, the pots and pans have held up greats as I do cook roughly 5-6 days a week, sometimes multiple times a day. I do have to use a generous amount of EVOO or butter to ensure whatever I am cooking does not stick to the pan depending on what it is. The outside coating does scratch off no matter how gentle you are on the stove. I am no gourmet chef either, I make the usual tacos, spaghetti, grilled cheese, chicken, pancakes, etc. I have included pictures for what the pans will look like realistically if you plan to actually cook with your pans. :)

Non stick doesn’t last
After about a year of daily use, the pans are no longer non stick even with rigidly followed the care instructions. They’re great at first and maybe if you aren’t a frequent cooker the set is a good option.
