A: Thank you for your question. Yes, according to the CARES act passed on March 27, 2020, menstrual products are HSA eligible. This includes menstrual care products such as “tampon, pad, liner, cup, sponge, or similar product used by individuals with respect to menstruation”. So it would appear that anyone with an HSA account can buy these items using their HSA account. Thank you!

This is the only brand that my daughter and I have used for years. Seriously considering switching as the quality has become so poor. They are unbelievable thin in width and seem very cheap. It almost looks like they are defective, except that in the last three boxes I have bought they are all like that. They don't even cover your underwear. In addition, they don't attach to the underwear because they are so narrow. The only think that sticks (to everything!!) is the adhesive you tear off and throw away.

I purchased pantyliners in January 2025 as my supply was getting low. I didn't realize the company had made changes to them. The first one I used didn't feel right, so I tried two more pads 😒. Don't like the shape/feel - thinner and too wide. They didn't stay in place and the adhesive side folded over and attached to my skin. I've been a loyal Carefree user for many, many years. Not happy with the product change. I prefer the original extra long liners.

So these are fine, I guess—absorb light leaks and discharge and are thin and comfortable. BUT if they are called "unscented", why is there a light floral scent to them? When I buy unscented products, it's because I don't want any added fragrance. These don't live up to that advertising on the box.

If you are looking for a fragrance-free product, our Carefree Original liners and Stayfree Classic pads (unless marked "scented") are the way to go! Our other products are not designed to be heavily fragranced, but do contain a light odor neutralizer for fresher comfort.

I recently found out that this brand has a massive lawsuit out for containing forever chemicals in them . I’m someone who stocks up on products, but as soon as I read the report they all went into the trash.

These liners have a decent length and thickness but the floral fragrance is extremely cloying. Unfortunately they are not unscented and for that amount of fragrance they cannot be healthy for extended use.

Works great! I am wearing one right now and can’t even feel it. It covers all that i need and doesn’t get in the way. Sometimes the sticky stuff stays on the wrapper but that usually doesn’t cause too many issues.

The new box design does not contain acti-fresh liners. The company claims they are but if that were so it would be printed on the box, but I guess you can't print a lie.

We have dropped the name “Actifresh”, but all of our products in our newly designed packaging are still the same Actifresh product you know and love. It is only the name and packaging that changed. Our main product line is now referred to as “Carefree Liners”.
